I encourage you to keep looking around at other cars to find the best one! Some will charge more than others.

We have a lot of people that want to use the cars for prom! The biggest thing is, an approved driver has to be the one to drive the vehicle. So if a parent is booking for the child, then the parent has to drive the vehicle unless the child is approved to drive by Turo.

I would give Turo support a call! They should be able to help with whatever issue you are running into.

My only personal suggestion would be to delete the account you created if you can and maybe make a new one, if you are past that point contacting Turo Support would be the only other route. There also can be a difference using the app versus online on turo.com. I would definitely try both if you haven’t.

That is correct. It is dependent on the vehicle, typically, and if there is any required, it will explain it to you before you reserve the car.

Since it is considered a debit card, I don’t believe it should be an issue. They accept all major credit cards, so if it is a MasterCard or Visa or something of that nature, then that should not be an issue.

This unfortunately does happen. If it did happen to you, I am so sorry that it did. That is not a reflection of all Turo hosts, and that is why I stress doing research on the host’s past trips before booking. Freak accidents happen obviously, but even in those circumstances, a host can set a guest up for success in getting into another vehicle.

Depends on the type of pick up. Sometimes a host gives you the keys, sometimes you will open by lock box, and sometimes the host unlocks remotely.

Yes you can drive on dirt roads. It is specifically off roading that is not allowed such as trails and such.

If you are asking to use a different item to replace your license, you cannot. It is against Turo’s policy to do so.

It will usually fall on either the guest, or the at fault driver’s insurance. In this case, the guest is liable since they were at fault in the accident.

I just used a generic interior cleaner to clean up any dirt or loose debris. For the carpet we used a carpet extractor cleaner provided by a company called Detail King!

If u have to do it yo self, research the detergent u to u use and use borax (boron) [not advised b/c it will all look very bad, and not gorgeous like his job], regardless].

This was a while ago so the details are kind of fuzzy, but we didn’t have a warranty for this car. Technically, the right way to do it would be to get an itemized invoice from the dealer, explaining the damages, then submitting a supplement requesting reimbursement for those repairs before you pay anything.
