Scientist need to learn that we humans are dumb animals too. Trying to find the intelligence of other species based on the manner in which we ourselves behave is not a true way of measuring intelligence. The brain of animals, including humans, never evolved to see reality, it evolve to see the perspective of reality relative to our environment, because this is what we need to survive. But seen UA-cam animals behaviors, as well as animal companions, we can be quite certain that sentience, self awareness, and emotions are not something special to humans, because fish have it too. It is the fact that it evolved on them, which is the reason why we have it too.
