I've watched this video about 10 times, it's been an excellent resource. Thank you for putting this out.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching
At the end you have "starring." That my friend would be"YOU THE GENTLEMAN WITH THE LOVELY LADY IN THE OTHER KAYAK. " Way to go. You two are good. Thanks.
Thank you sir for the kind words 👍
I’m trying to get my husband to do something like this. As for camping, did you have to pre-book spots?
All along this river is state land we just picked a spot and disbursed camped
I didn't know Bruce Willis was a kayaker!
Ha , thanks for checking out the video
I love Comstock to wadhams I've it multiple times. It's such a beautiful natural trip
Great video of my favorite river. My family has a long history on the Ausable. Did you have to get permits for each particular campsite you stayed at? That's how they use to do it.
You two are a good couple. Not trying to hard for the camera. Just being real. Nice.
Thank you for watching and the kind words
Where are you?
Black River , Port Huron Mi
This was great !! Flat Stanley & Jack Daniels steaks !! Awesome 😎🤗👍
Thank you for checking us out
Can u share ur map details please?
I wish I could help I currently do not have any of that information anymore . Ausable river is great but we really love the Manistee more primitive camping
Trying to get my wife to do the same. I showed her your video and now she is considering a 3 day trip. Thanks for the inspiration!
You guys are a hoot! Are you still kayak camping since I haven't seen anything lately!
Yes still kayak camping , but not so much recording
Looks like a nice place to kayak and camp!
Thank you , we are lucky to have this so close to home
Nice idea about the gear line!! I'll have to make one of those. Kinda like a hammock ridgeline
Looked like a fun and relaxing trip. The best kind.
Really good video. Felt like I was there, but not. 😐. Subscribed and hope y’all do more kayak camping videos. I’m going to keep showing my wife. 😏
Thanks for watching Tom , I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully one day you and your loved one can head out on an adventure
You close to fords Dam I lived by black river bridge on wadhams road
Yes sir, can't get enough of the Black River and Beard Hills
I love your Video thanks for sharing. I have a question I'm from MI and wanting to go up North Kayaking with Hubby, I know up North water on the lake is kinda rough. What kind of kayak would you recommended? I'm 5'4 weight 115 lbs
I was wanting more info on this trip can you help me with some details.
Sure can, what info are you looking for ?
@@082600bmc I've been looking at a lot of footage of really rough water in black river. I am wanting to tackle this with my service anemial. I think he'd love it. Where exactly should I launch and end? where are the really rough drops? How did u avoid them?
@@dakota7912 Google Wildcat Road and Norman Road , this is where we normally drop in at and you can get out at m136 Bridge. So for as far as the rough water it changes from day to day. Last yr i went and dragged bottom the whole way. Fyi...water is high now
@@dakota7912 this is a good reference USGS 04159492 BLACK RIVER NEAR JEDDO, MI

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be so harsh. I’ve been drinking. Apologies. 😉🍺
Yep, I’m sorry I had to go back. That girl fucking sat there on her ass and you took your kayak all the way up hill and came back and picked up her paddle and helped her out!!!! What a spoiled woman. You should have left her behind. I mean seriously just think about it for a second.damn fucking pull your own.
Did you really help her out ? Yes you did. Spoiled bitch.
Kayak camping: the best there is, especially if you do it with your beloved one.
Chicken of the woods, yum! also called a Sulfur mushroom.
Absolutely awsome great video thank you.
Thxs for watching 👀
Just beautiful
Nice video! Plan on getting out there soon ourselves. Safe paddling.
Thanks and safe paddling to you
I know this is the Black River...but is this Jedho to Norman? And did you ever camp at P.L. Graham park...it's just north of Croswell, and owned by the city of Croswell. It's free to camp there, but they accept donations. I usually toss the caretaker $20 for the weekend, and he will stock one of the eleven sites with wood for you! His name is John and he's a real cool guy! A couple of the sites are in the woods, but most are along the river. My girl and I will kayak the the suspension bridge, and then back up river to camp!
Yes Jedo to Norman, and thanks for the tip on the camping. We are planning a 2 night trip this yr from the crosewell dam to whadhams bridge this yr.
At least the water level is up in the later winter/spring. We kayaked (tired to at least) from jeddo to comstock/136 and had to walk most of it due to low water in july. Nice video, cool to see local stuff.
We are very lucky to have such a nice area to get outdoors and play in the woods and rivers thank you for watching maybe one day we'll see you on the river
@@082600bmc might, we are normally more east fishing by the canal. But we do want to fish the damn this year too.
Great video but the music was to loud. To distracting
In fact, I just loved the music very much
been watchin this tellin my gal i wish we could do tha same. u guys r awsome n i enjoy watchin ur vids :)
Thxs for checking us out
Are you at the ink N Final River
Adam Brannon Black River. ,St.Clair county mi
What are you video taping with?
Linda Johnson Olympus waterproof camera, great sound quality ,had mine for several years works great
Nice video. I just started watching your videos. I’d love to travel like that. What is the name of your tent? When you start out from point A are you returning to point A or does someone drop you off at point A and pick you up at the end of your trip? What do you do about the bugs? How do you clean your dishes? I can’t wait for your reply.
Linda Johnson Rei half dome is our tent and we prefer 2 be taken up River and kayak back to our vehicles but sometimes we have to pay a kayak Livery money to spot our vehicle Downriver. Bugs....well just some deet spray and a bug head net that we fortunately have not had to use yet . Biodegradable soap or just some hot boiling water keeps the dishes clean. Thanks so much for watching ,hope you enjoy your next adventure.
BC Adventures Thank you for the info. Do you have a video of what you pack for your trips and then how you pack your kayaks? I use to be a member of REI. Is that one of their tents? If so which one?
salt creek?
thedirtyknobs black river st.clair county mi...enjoy😎
Very Nice to see adventures together..Beautiful
Emerson McNamara thank you so much we truly do enjoy each other.
Just wondering why is this stealth camping looks like wilderness.
Junior Owsley Probably because it isn’t their land. Either public land that doesn’t “allow” camping or someone else’s. Sad that we can’t always enjoy the planet we were born on without hiding doing so.
Where was your put in and take out points and how far was the trip
Michael Cunningham jeddo road to Norman Road Bridge, it was about 3 hours on the water to camp an about 1hr paddle to the truck.
Thank you
Where is a good place to enter the black river?
Lionheart jeddo rd bridge to Norman rd bridge is a great trip to take.
I have a question for you. What are the rules for kayaking the the St. Clair River? Do I have to be careful not to enter the Canadian side? What do I need with me?
Lionheart the rules for the river are do not touch Canadian land, other than that it's free to go anywhere you want as far as ID goes I always have mine , just in case . Been kayaking the big river for 20 yrs and never a problem. There are several kayak launches in the Blue Water Area
BC Adventures thank you for the info! 😃
Cool vid just subbed
James Ireland glad you enjoyed it. Kayak camping is so much fun
See you out there soon!
Just so you people know Flat Stanley is part of a kindergarten school project for our niece to take Flat Stanley with you on Great Adventures all for the kids folks
BC Adventures we did the same for our nephew. Stanley went everywhere with us.🤣🚣🖒🕺😄✈👏
BC Adventures we planning a trip like this for this summer. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching our video, glad you liked it. Have fun on your adventurers
lol i was wondering... TY...
I'm the 100th Sub... Great video. I like all of your kayak camping vids. I am trying to do a 100 mile down the Huron River this summer or next.
2 fire... not so good idea... waste of wood and time.
quebec adventures nothing you do out side is a waist of time .
i wish i could find a girl that was as cool and tough as her
fbenton2 thanks man..she is one of a kind and i sure am lucky
Suggest you buy a Bayliner 36ft Aft Cabin Motoryacht. You could have 4-6 ladies in string bikinis all at once laying around topless in the Sunshine.⚓
They're few and far between. I got one 48 years ago,, and I'm still hanging on. She's a keeper. 🙂🙏best wishes
