My Engine is Destroyed!
I was hoping to hear this engine run nice and smooth, but sometimes you lose the battle. Looks like I have an engine swap in my future.

Retrofit a new A/C condenser into your classic truck!
Looking good brother.
Appreciate it.
Ok, so you disconnected the battery and eyeballed around a bit to see what else needs to come off😀
Intake manifold leak
It’s my fault for having eyes
Take the outer bearing out put the nut back on and yank the spindle hub off and you won’t mess up a good set of vice grips faster than what you do and won’t cost a dime
Complex solutions to simple problems.
astro pneumatic actually makes slide hammer vice grips and theyre only like $50 bucks. if youve ever heard of astro then youll know its good.
Don't just empty it, if there's some left in a water jacket in the head it can still crack and this won't get all of it out. You need to fill it with actual coolant. For the viewers, you can go to an O'Reilly or autozone and get a coolant tester which will tell you what the freezing point of your coolant is and go from there.
Learn to run a bead stop chicken peck welding geez
That double wall steel around the converter is hard to weld properly, huh?
Nice fabbing!
Thanks!
Don't melt ur E-brake cable....
Good job making junk work in your favour. Not enough of us out there doin the thing!
@@nickcoleman1073 Yessir. Gotta take what you can get sometimes.
Wow you look just like my best friends brother. RIP Joel.
@@CascadePacificNW My condolences
It definetly will help me out in the future, i will forget this though unfortunatly .. im compleetly rebuilding an 89 k1500
Why is the safetyrubber loose? Wouldn't be ther now a new situation to build another safetysolution for the made problem that should be a safetysolution 😂
Nice fix, eventually maybe wrap it in insulation to make it appear more OEM? I am totally rebuilding an 05 cateye and I am making improvements while keeping OEM style and quality but that is just my opinion. Keep up the good work
If there’s a fuel leak the hot manifold and exhaust is more than enough to ignite the gas so you are for sure over worried
My concern is spark burning through the filter over time.
Are you serious you know you can put a cigarette out in a bucket of gasoline
My concern is spark burning through the filter over time.
Someone please reach this man to twist his wires before soldering....
I just tried to Rattle Can my old car $190 in spray paint and half the paint was watery or wouldnt cover in any kind of way.
Yep. It takes some skill to get rattled can to look good. You can wet sand to get the drips out.
Sell it.😊
Nope. Got this bad boy for $800.
Well at least your hood isn't bent in half😅.
😂 For real!
Paint and accessories like the apulstory is the least of your worries, just take you time with it and try to enjoy it
Thanks. This is going to be used as a hauler for my dump trailers.
You don't have to pull out all apart that's fuse number two and the block underneath the hood it's just one fuse you had to replace
@@KyleK-j4b There was a fire under the hood.
@Sterlingthestallion o great truck to restore can't wait to watch the progress.
Problem with being broke is the old addage, if it ain't broke don't fix it. This applys for repairs too. Broke people don't fix themselves tho. Lol
Nothing wrong here smh
I mean if its the signal wire then probably not the worst, since the wire is small to begin that is the likely purpose of that wire. Also clearly who ever did that never was told that if its hard to strip your using the wrong size gap in your strippers. It should never be very difficult (assuming you have good quality strippers/accurate wire sizing)
Strippers??? Homeboy did that with his eating corn on the cob through a chain link fence teeth.
looks fine Send It
a lot of things just sent a signal to engage back then so there probably isn't hardly any power going through there. that was also from a time that splicing a wire on the side of the road kept you rolling lol
I agree. But when you get home fix it right.
Why eliminate the throttle body fuel injection?
Less to go wrong. I’ve just had bad experience with TBI.
can a carburetor be retro fitted with a t.b.i. is that not in plain words an electronic carb?
This truck had TBI. It is basically an electronic carburetor. This truck had too many wiring issues to make it worth it for TBI.
@Sterlingthestallion thank-you.
Ahh the ole edelbroken?
Where can I get it or how do I look it up or part number looking for the same one it seems
How have I ended up here 😮
What is the part number of the new condenser
She is so adorable.
