This does not work. The invisible knot is the proper way.
It does. For feltable yarns - non superwash animal fibers. And I haven’t said that there is any „proper way”. You do what you want to do :)

So I have a question and maybe you can respond - I’ve been knitting for 25 years and crocheting for maybe 10 - I by do we need to weave in ends? My best case against is just this - when you buy a skein that has a join in it, they don’t leave tails to weave in, they knit it, clip it short and that’s what one uses. Why can’t I do the same thing when I need to join yarns or change colors?
@@CaGirl93003 everybody can do whit it what they want, I just don't want to find some holes in my knitted pieces - it is way to much work to make them. and weaving in ends takes just a little time but it makes everythin look much better. in my opinion of course.

Note: this will only work of your blend is 80% wool or higher~ Additional note: Yes, it needs to be spit. The proteins in your saliva make for a better bond than water.
@@firegodessreiko there is information that it’s only for feltable yarns - animal fibers non superwash. ☺️ And you can use water but it will take little more time to make it hold up so well.

Z duuużej ilości włóczki można zrobić koc. Długo to trwa, można dodać skrawki innych włóczek, jeśli się wyciągnie - trudno, i tak większość tego nie zauważy
To jest świetny pomysł! Tylko boję się że te włoski będą atakować z koca 😂

Cześć, tego nie znałam - świetny pomysł na łączenie, to jest genialne. Pytanie tylko, czy będzie się nadawać do włóczki z dodatkami, np jak ma 10% poliamidu? Pozdrawiam
Trzeba przetestować na jakimś niewielkim fragmencie, niestety jeśli będzie to superwash to nie zadziała na pewno.
This is actually y i love using feltables becuz i hate those knots n tend to do my own thing to hide thembut it still drove my ocd nuts until a friend suggested this.! It was a total game changer!

Hej! Super pomysł z tym wyzwaniem związanym z naprawianiem ubrań! Ja nie mam jeszcze dużo udziergów więc i mało do naprawy 😎 a co do sweterka Iris to cudny! Ta druga wersja z mniejszym dekoltem bardzo mi się podoba :)

Witam! Firma holstgarn na swojej stronie ma gotowe zestawy wloczek na ten sweterek, chcialam kupic wzor ale nie podoba mi sie dekold, jak da sie go naprawic zmniejszajac liczbe oczek i drutów to świetna wiadomość ☺️
@@h.aksamit2674 da se spokojnie, widać u mnie jak duża jest różnica. Można jeszcze spróbować z taką cieniutką gumką przezroczystą żeby trzymała ładnie ten kształt.

I don't get it, do both sets of buttons need to be slid into slits? Is it buttonned both inside and outside? Or are the smaller buttons doing something else?
the smaller buttons are there to add stability to the large buttons on the front. have you ever had a cardigan where the buttons pull and warp the fabric? this fixes it, you still only button with the large buttons that are visible but again theres the benefit of having more stability in the buttons and likely more life out of the garment. hopefully that made sense if not let me know
