I too have the Ibanez GRG140 WH and it is exactly the same as the guitar shown in the start of this video but at 0:30 he switched guitar to a Strat style.
D0P3YZY I assume to show how the Ibanez stays in tune when you go over the top with the tremolo bar. The floating bridge system in the Strat doesn't keep the strings in tune as well as the system on the Ibanez.
CPOMendez117 this was nowhere near a fair comparison. The Ibanez was played on position 4 (neck+middle PU) which is hum cancelling while the Strat was in position 5 (neck PU only) which will give 60 cycle hum. The amount of attack on the whammy bar was like chalk & cheese, with a light bit of vibrato on the Ibanez and a Satriani-esque full dive on the Strat. Both tremolo systems are as good as one another-the nut is the main cause for tuning instability in both guitars. No bias here-I’ve got the black version of this cheap Ibanez and I’ve got more expensive Strats. The Ibanez is a deadset bargain and would be my pick of the two.
I have the same ibanez guitar, but bridge and the back look different. Am i scammed?
no man, you aren't scummed. If it looks more like strat bridge, than it's good for you bc the tuning stability is better.
@@AlanKaruzo wow, thanks for response
