Birb is immune to smash so i thought this might be a little interesting There's probably a much faster method to do this by fighting nearby enemies first to preemptively buff and stack flawless crystal damage. But I am stubborn and don't usually like those kind of strats, maybe next time

Much more complicated than it appears on paper. Surviving until a chain is ready can be inconsistent and difficult, not to mention Demon Purging Fire will just party wipe if the AI is dumb enough. The chain itself also requires really good RNG with orders and crits to actually secure the kill. Thank you Rex Xenoblade

I was legitimately AFK for most of this This was the best build I could find to make the fight as consistent as possible. Only threat is Siren Buster which will always one shot you unless Unbeatable procs.

I just think the silly topple lock skill is funny Forgot to share my build but you can probably imagine what i was running; topple duration, fusion combo up and lots of additional damage for the Chain Attack. This was also done on Easy cause I'd just have to rely on Elma and Kos-Mos even more on Normal.

A surprisingly great class for Gauntlet. Its low survivability and a lack of AOE damage are the only things keeping it outside of top tier. You could try to patch up the survivability weakness by using Deflector Field and some other sources of damage reduction. But imo it's better to abuse the classes great DPS to kill things faster than they kill you.

This class is already kinda underrated in normal gameplay, and it performs even better in this environment Only really held back by the slower animations, its bulk is insane and the smash fusion gives it great burst damage

An awful class that's slightly less awful in this mode. Being a healer that can also do some decent damage is a great trait to have in Gauntlet, but it's still held back by the tendency to get randomly one shot.

This class is great in normal gameplay but its strengths don't really transfer over to Gauntlet, one of the weakest in the mode I'd say. I went for a DPS focused build with 3 evasion arts for consistency. Other supportive options might also work, but Gauntlet can really punish you for having low damage Admittedly this run could have gone by a lot faster if I was able to get Melia at some point,...

A decent class for Gauntlet, with certain builds like this you're basically unkillable and can constantly arts spam. But the DPS will always be mediocre. it's worth noting that Zephyr can charge talent arts faster than any other Defender, so a Raging Force or Element Genesis setup might work pretty well and offer good burst damage. Really good class for Gauntlet, can easily be built for evasion spam or a very powerful smasher on more tanky setups...or both at once Talent art choice doesn't matter too much cause I didn't really use positionals, so I just went with an extra evasion art for slightly better survivability in more drawn our waves

you can try giving crossette fusion combo up and then 2x special recharge, then maybe you get to lv1 in two arts instead of three. idk how much it would matter since you are trying to get the potions from the third art
I think I tried doing that and while the setup was faster I didn't get enough potions to actually kill
