    I'm very interested in a 20" obsession that is from 1992. My sliding glass door allows 27 max opening with zero room to spare. Owner says the main box is 26 x 26 x 25 inches. Is it possible he's truly correct on that older model?

    Thanks Bob for the great video and overview. What brand of ladder are you using with your 20" f/5 as shown in the setup video? It has nice low angle stairs that look easy to stand on and appears to be easy to fold up and store as well.

    Can you give suggestions for Eyepieces for 10inch f4.7 telescope.?

      Hi there, that depends on what you would like to see. If you are planning to go to a dark site and see wide views of star clusters, then a wide field eyepiece is better, maybe 17 mm - 31 mm. If you are planning to look at planets, then a high power such as 5 mm - 10 mm. Or if you just want a general set of eyepieces, I would start with one of each and see what you would like after you get those two.

    Im 59 and my last telescope was 5" reflector . Mi question is why all electrics stuff ? Why an a fan in the primary mirror ?

    • @shadowrizhik
      @shadowrizhik 3 роки тому

      It’s actually because the fan helps cool down the mirror to ambient temperatures. This helps you get a better view.

      Nope, I am definitely not retired. I am 40, so I guess I have a few years yet... But that doesn't stop me from getting out and doing astronomy as much as possible, taking astrophotos, and being an officer in the club ;-). That being said, yes there have been a number of times when I can't go out observing (or at least have to go home early) since I have work the next day.
