I lived in Clearwater Florida in the 1980s. In 1983 we discovered Hungry Howie's Pizza! Good stuff and loaded with toppings. You guys just brought me some old memories of good times. Thank you! Boy, i miss that pizza!

Hi Cam and Steve . . . . here in Starkville we had a Hungy Howie's in one of our strip malls . . . i did get a simple pepperoni pizza a time or two & it was okay . . . a month or so ago i drove by that strip mall . . . and Hungry Howies's was no longer there . . .a boutique clothing store has taken over the location . . . sadly, that's par for the course for Starkville . . . other recent losses were Godfather's Pizza and Marco's . . . . i really, really liked Marco's . . . the one pizza in town that i'll regulary get is the pepperoni & sausage at Newk's - - which has locations in several mostly southeastern states (Florida included) . . . they have it in only one size, i'm guessing 10 inches . . . and it's $13 and change . . . but i'll pay up for it because i know what i'm getting each time and can count on it being consistently good . . . i'm tempted by the stuffed crazy crust that Little Caesar's is marketing for $9.49 . . . however, i'm going to pass on it because my last several Little Caesar's pizzas haven't been very good . . . Cam, i love spaghetti, too . . . it's one thing that i'm good at making from scratch . . . see ya'll in 2025 . . . . Danny in Mississippi

Hi Cam and Steve . . . . although lobster didn't get my vote, i'm not at all unhappy with ya'lls visit to red lobster . . . . i'm pretty sure that i would have thoroughly enjoyed all of your selections . . . . . of course, there's not a red lobster anywhere near starkville . . . . didn't i hear not very long ago that red lobster was closing down locations because of the chain being on rocky financial ground? . . . i'm pretty sure i did hear that reported. . . sadly, that's something not surprising to hear in these days and times . . . it's been a very long time ago, but our little corner grocery store in the mississippi delta back in the 1960s was fortunate enough to get regular visits from a seafood vendor that supplied us with lobsters, crabs, shrimp, and oysters from the gulf coast . . . oh, how my grandmother knew how to cook up all those varieties in the most scrumptuous manner . . . alas, those were the days my friends . . . . let's make my vote for korean . . . . see ya'll next week . . . . . Hi Cam and Steve . . . . it just so happened that this evening i found in my pantry an unopened package of Oreos that i had hidden behind a stack of canned goods . . . they were the traditional Oreos - - but double stuffed . . . . i didn't have a clue about how long ago they'd been there . . . but, i opened the package and took out 3 cookies. . . . they tasted fresh as far as i could tell . . . and they were a nice little desert that really hit the spot . . . . then i watched football for the rest of the night . . . was this a bonus video? . . . . . . once again, ya'll have a very blessed Merry Christmas . . . . . . . . Hi Cam and Steve . . . . although i voted for chicken - - because of how much i like it in chicken spaghetti, chicken and dressinig, chicken and dumplings, chicken noodle soup, and chicken pot pie - - i still enjoyed your sampling of donuts . . . i think i would have enjoyed every one of the donut varieties that ya'll sampled . . . except the maple & bacon pairing . . . that just wouldn't work for me personally . . . in the end i would always choose the plain glazed donut from the Shipley's here in town over any other donut . . . no doubt that's because i grew up in the early 1960s with my dad occasionally treating our family to a dozen Shipley donuts from their store in our Mississippi Delta town . . . oh, they were so good . . . they are still good even today - - as long as you're lucky enough to get them from a batch that was freshly fried in that giant pool of grease /oil . . . i'm going to vote for a food court visit because of all the possibilities that that would offer . . . . . . a very early very Merry Christmas to ya'll . . . . . . . . . Hi Cam and Steve . . . . welcome back . . . . the piece de resistance for me was the plate of fish and chips . . . i'll certainly be dreaming tonight of that 9 x 5 piece of fried cod . . . sadly, there's no place here in Starkville that can offer anything that comes close to that . . . bacon and eggs over medium and buttered toast is my go to breakfast . . .. so Cam's plate was comforting to see . . . although i go my local Shipley's every now and then for a couple of plain glazed donuts, my vote will be for chicken . . . . .ya'll have a good week . . . . .
