A regular pentagonal prism of height 60 mm and base edge 30 mm rests with its base on HP. The vertical face closest to VP is 30 degree. Draw the development of the truncated prism with its truncated surface inclined at 60 degree to its axis and bisecting it.

A temperature scale of certain thermometer is given by the relation 𝐭=𝐚 〖𝐥𝐨𝐠〗_𝐞 𝐏 𝐛, where a and b are constants and P is the thermometric property of the fluid in the thermometer. If at ice point and steam point the thermometric property is found to be 1.5 and 7.5 respectively. A thermocouple with test junction at T ℃ on a gas thermometer scale and reference junction at ice point gives emf e = 0.2t - 5X10-4t2 mV. The millivoltmeter is calibrated at ice and steam points. What will be the reading on this thermometer when the gas thermometer reads 70 ℃. @VijethaVardhanRN

Fahrenheit and centigrade thermometer are both immersed in a fluid Fahrenheit reading is numerically twice that of centigrade reading. What is the temperature of the fluid expressed as degree R and degree K? @VijethaVardhanRN

Simply first identify the center of the base and draw a vertical line for a given length (which would be the apex point)

Apparent angles (beta or alpha) are not with respect to the corner or side resting position. If a line is inclined to both the principal planes then only the need of apparent angles to be constructed.
