Followed you on insta and gave you a sub!!
Your attention to detail is mind blowing I learn so much from your video's always looking forward to the next one
@@markbucey7057 thank you!
Wow! Talk about detail...
@@samjohnson1061 thank you checking it out!
Killer…background music is perfect!!!
@@TerryWilsonModels 😝
Big One's for sure
Awesome I'm building a 37 Ford truck in 1/12th scale and a 29 Ford pick up in 1/12th scale kinda had the same idea on the 37 build I started the cab a while back got way to many large scale projects going on
@@paulcasarez404 awesome!
@Leadfootkurtis I started to build it after on of Rat rod bobs builds he does some crazy builds on his UA-cam channel
@@paulcasarez404 I love that channel and his builds. I’ve learned a lot from that guy.
Very nice ❤
Awesome work buddy, your stuff looks so realistic and nice music choice
Excellent detail and demonstration. I never thought of a small chisel like that, I need to look into those
@@pappytinkers thanks for watching and I subed your channel, I seem to be finding a lot of model car enthusiasts I’m not subscribed too. Awesome community and thanks again!
@Leadfootkurtis same here! In fact I just found another just 5 minutes ago, Manny's scale modeling. You're right about the community, nothing else like this one in UA-cam!
Thanks for sharing but there were some parts I did not understand,
@@samuelvasquez8170 ask any questions friend, maybe I can do a video about it.
@@Leadfootkurtisthanks
Thank you for showing and inspiring us Kurtis
Thank you for watching!
i did this with a ferrari air cleaner. Yours came out much nicer. how do you see? Im gonna look into the optics drs wear over their heads
@@highorbit3282 I just use reading glasses +375 . They fish eye the edges of vision but, it works.
i love the car, but I wish tamiya made the kit. The tires alone makess me wanna throw the kit away. Dont get me started on the chrome. The willys and the henry J are both cool cars.
@@highorbit3282 there seems to be a fight with the kits. I have yet to have any kit fit without some coaxing. Mobious has been a pleasant surprise recently. I never seem to use many kit parts with my builds lol
@Leadfootkurtis i know what you mean. For me slow and steady wins the race. I can't get enough illumination or magnification but I can still coax an old heller kit together. They didnt even include locating pins of any kind. I go down the rabbit hole on every car, research, sanding, trimming, pre assembly, prep for paint etc. is all normal, but then comes the photo etch, resin fuel fittings, ignition wires, all manner of hoses, foam headliners, 2k paint. i end up building four or five cars a year. i have 80+ unbuilt. I love it.
i like the mobious kits too. Meng makes a nice audi r8 it looks like a resin kit but it isn't. And a 1/24 F1 Maclaren thats also nice. I built all the usualy prostock, funny cars, altereds and 50s and 60s nostalgic drag cars, from AMT, monogram, and revell. Now im buildind fujimi, tamiya, hasagawa, and aoshima, classic ferraris, european road cars, hyper cars, F1, and endurance racers. Hopefully Ill be busy till the day i die.
@ we will I’m sure. That’s awesome, I’d love to build some old skool road race cars. Stay inspired and model on brother!
did you say "sbobs" loctite is very expensive use it fast. i bought 4 or 5 different ones and several dried up way before they shouldve
@@highorbit3282 I use bobs, sbob backwards lol. however I’m thinking about trying some of the lock tight for the resin parts to see if they are a stronger bond. The drying up issue is good to knowledge .
I built a real 35 Ford truck Hot Rod. I used modified 32 rails, stretched the wheelbase, made a short bed, and used a Cadillac 472 engine. It looked almost like your model. Cool stuff.
How awesome! I’ve always wanted a hot rod, but time, tools n money lol
@@Leadfootkurtis It took 3 years and $23,000! LOL!
@@JohnW1711stock I have a square body and a gen 4 Camaro, just building what I got lol. It’s better to never ever think about what anything costs. Hitting the go pedal is everything hahaha

Pretty sure one of those Willy's kits is mine from 20 something years ago 😂
@@MobileMortuary ummm.. 🤔 yes, so, may I borrow some parts from that kit? 😁
I was going to use it some day, but I guess you can have it. 😅
@@MobileMortuary I’ll get you one out of this other Willy’s kit… no never mind..I used it. I’ll get you a brand new one. 😇
@Leadfootkurtis Those kits always come unbuilt anyways. Sounds hard. You build it.
