How’s the birdcage on this’66?

Question: do customers of yours ever call you and tell you they are selling their cars. Your renovation work makes these cars very desirable. You should take a commission and advertise them on this channel. Do one promo car a week. Of course you’d refresh it before you sold it. What do you think?

You guys are ridiculous! You take a car separating at the seams, and it ends up looking like glass. I've done bodywork that I thought was silk and when paint got on it, looked like a gravel road! 😂 You can't emphasize enough the time..time..time it takes to get this quality. Incredible.

the 66 green convertible that he built prior to this was for sale last fall in Chicago it must have been submerged in a Florida storm. Sand in compartments behind the seats rust on bolts on the frame and other water damage I drove up to Chicago from Ohio to maybe buy the car . I was shocked

Absolutely gorgeous, my favorite year GTO, a one only design that should have continued for a couple more years. I love the up-grades like the dual master cylinder brake system which didn't appear until 1967, and the 12 bolt Chevy differential and sway bar which wouldn't have been available in a 1965 GTO...Awesome.

I wish every shop provided the crew with excellent tools.

Ha, I painted my car with 7 spray cans at $6.99 per can. It looks great.... At 40 feet away......After dark...Said my friend with 20/70 vision. When he saw it up close he said it should be color sanded.... with 36 grit on a high speed grinder. He's not a friend anymore! :P

Safety first knock offs were never a good idea

Thanks for video. Well done. But I disagree with using any type of accustic sound dampening material. . You need material for sound deadening. It’s an acoustic vibration, dampener only. not noise dampening-it’s only stopping metal vibration and you’re putting it in a fiberglass car which makes no sense to me at all. Plus it adds 30 pounds of weight to the car. So if you wanna stop sound, and noise you’ve got to use wool, or other sound deadening materials. Fat mat, killmat and such rips off the public by false advertising as their materials are only for Audio suspension and reducing vibrations… not noise removal !!! It appears you’ve listened To the wrong people. However, since you are on top of most everything else, it seems like you would do some research and actually do a sound decibel test on these cars when you use this Kmat material you will find that they are just as loud as they would normally be, without it. if you did not use it…and also add that extra weight to these peoples cars. For no reason. It is also time consuming and not cheap. Does not stop road noise wheel noise or engine noise in the least. Please check into it. I’ve got it in half of my cars and the other half none. No difference in fact the cars without it tend to ride quieter! Great info here In Making these cars safer and last longer. I’m doing an 81 project taking it from a $7k worn out mess to a new $30k pride making cruiser. I won’t be adding fat mat or kill mat as this car is already too heavy from the factory. 3800.
