All very good points. As for what drivers can do to have good customer service, 1st. We have to communicate with the shippers and receivers. Meet them where they are at, be courteous ask them "what can I or WFX do to serve you to our full extent?" offer to go the extra mile. Now some places will not be receptive to kindness, some will not be satisfied no matter what we do. Still be kind, have a smile, and do the best you can do. Now I can only speak in my own area of experience, When I moved into the Denver, CO area of ops we had a few places that the previous local driver had jeopardized and were just about to tell us to never come back. I worked hard to repair those relationships and now they are some of our best places to work with. 2nd. we must show up at the shipper/receiver with "all our ducks in a row" to this end we must have all the info that is expected of us. Whomever builds the loads in the system Must provide us with all relevant info for the load. ie; we all know when delivering at a Wal mart/Sams we have to have a Delivery number, make sure that is included in the dispatch weather it is a customer or brokered load. Make sure the proper P/U number is also. 3rd. Communicate with the actual receiver unless specifically told not to, confirm that they are ready for the load and give them a firm delivery time. We have to remember that our CSM's are probably communicating with a corporate entity in another state or region from the actual receiver, we have saved a lot of time and fuel by calling and asking and utilizing the scheduled time to serve another customer if they were not ready. 4th. FM/CSM's, listen to the drivers that are on sight, they might be told something different than what corporate says that may make the difference between a success and a service failure. Communication in the office is key also, I shouldn't have to call someone 600 miles away when the FM and the CSM are sitting 5 feet away from each other. The 5 P's are our best tool. Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance!

With over 9 years accident free, ticket free, dot failure free, citation free. We have never seen a safety bonus. We hope this is real. The last 9 years' promises never came true. Sorry for the doubt. Even had our vacation pay taken away in 2020, which took 10k away from our earnings. Bill and Rosa company drivers.

My first month at WFX has been really good. My husband's happy that the planners have been able to route me close to home for a lunch or 34. My FM is the best I've ever had. Mr Sherman listens, works hard w/a sense of humor, and "gets me." I take pride in a winning team.Tks 4 th oppty... ♥WINNING♥

As a child I felt valued riding with my Grandfather over the road, which set my perception of Drivers as essential to supply of necessities to the extravagant. Too few has such opportunity, at a young age, to see the essential nature of surface transportation by the few for the masses.
