1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom
1ST OF ALL: I A/B's this guitar against my original 1958 Les Paul Standard and it sounded better and had more balls? Very unusual!
No made in USA stamp, small volute and early pickups. Parts date '69. Gold hardware is perfect. ONE OWNER folks! Near mint condition, 9.5 lbs, perfect and untouched. 100% original except for a perfect re-fret which is needed on these "Fretless Wonders". You will not find a better one.

One of the nicest Strats that has come along. Perfect soft "V" neck that is straight and true, truss rod works fine. It was very professionally refretted without touching the finish on fret board. Wire is just slightly taller than original so plays perfecto! The only other thing that was touched and not original is the body finish. That said it looks exactly like an original finish in every det...

You know what they say about a guitar that has been played a lot? They are FANTASTIC GUITARS and this one is no exception to that rule. Besides a great sounding vintage Dimarzio in the bridge position this guitar is all original including case. It sounds and plays fantastic and am sure that is why it was played so much. Heavily flamed maple top too! No breaks or repairs outside of a recent perf...

Very Early 1965 Gibson ES-335 Wide Neck Minty Fresh Clean Original Case
Переглядів 104Місяць тому
WOW!!!!!!!!! Have never seen a cleaner 335 and there's been some real trophies through here. When we pulled the pickups the wood underneath looks like they just cut it? Newer than new, unbelievable! Now this is an early '65 so basically the same guitar as a 1964. Nice full wide neck and a great set of patent # pickups with sealed covers of course. Zero fret wear or wear of any kind anywhere. Ni...
Clean 1962 Gibson ES 335 with PAFs.
Переглядів 381Місяць тому
Here we have a very clean, all original, one owner, 1962 PAF ES 335. This guitar has more of a medium neck profile than the usual thinner necks from this era. Highly figured top and back is beautiful on this one. The color is also as good as they come. It plays effortlessly and the pickups sound as great as one would expect being original PAF's rather than the more common Patent Numbers. There ...

This is the best year for these as far as investment goes. Yes, it is a great playing and sounding guitar in near mint original condition. Finding one of these that has not been stripped of it's electronics and magical pickups is pretty rare today. Add these are the hottest pickups we have seen in one of these w the bridge output of 9.1 and neck at 8.3. Not cheap but all considered best deal ou...
1958 Gibson Les Paul Very Early Tom Murphy Refinish - Gorgeous
Переглядів 251Місяць тому
This is a one of a kind and a very special 1958 Les Paul Gold Top. Best sounding late 50's paf guitar I have ever played! Maybe it's because it only weighs 8.1 pounds? Ultra light and resonant. My guess is that is the secret sauce on this one? This guitar is a rare work of art by the most famous Les Paul Artist in the world, "Tom Murphy". I was lucky to have spoken recently with Tom about it; w...
1956 Fender Stratocaster
Переглядів 448Місяць тому
Clean original 1956 Stratocaster - Very clean and 100% original right down to the solder joints, with a couple exceptions. The decal was replaced long ago as a result of cleaning a cigarette burn mark from headstock face, very common. At the same time a small area just above guard has a light clear over it and basically undetectable. It blacklights correctly so was done many years ago. All sold...
1955 Fender Telecaster All Original Factory Custom Sunburst Finish
Переглядів 207Місяць тому
SUPER RARE, 1955 Fender Telecaster in original two tone sunburst finish. Very few of these were produced. Only know of three. A private collector in Germany (featured on Vintage Guitar Calendar), Joe Bonamassa has one, and this one. In fact, Joe's recent video of his rarest and favorite guitars featured his. The guitar is in excellent condition w some checking, nicks and scratches, and a little...

My fashion selected attire was created by "LUIS VUITTON" and they sponsored this video. My special thanks....
Have played with Chuck several times and did not even pay attention to his guitar? Must be slipping. I would guess it's one of these? Just check out one of his more recent videos and that would be it?
Great video thumbs up subbed, which one of those did Chuck Berry play
What a fantastic video have a wonderful day ❤😊
The other mod not mentioned is the 5-way switch, which wasn't standard in 1957.
correct
A Slowhand "Brownie"...
Sold
This is a blackface Deluxe Reverb with way too much reverb employed, Holy Heck! It actually sounds pretty good w a JBL? It is sold but thank you for checking it out. WE usually have several blackface and tweed amps in stock.
These amps sound so much better when you bring the output from the reverb tank, into the NORMAL channel, roll off almost all the bass and boost the treble. Will require a couple things like an RCA cable and an RCA phono female to a 1/4" male to make that work.
Where can i find out more about this?
Thumbs up Great video subbed sounds Great
This guitar is on hold for someone. Sorry...
This LP Custom sounds unusually good!
The tone variations are pretty amazing and when you consider the condition and the vintage this particular one is a great investment!
How much about this!
Can’t really hear how the guitar due to room reverb. E906 close mic’ing of the amp would greatly improve the sound.`
Agreed, They put the wrong video up? There is a better one out there I think? WE lost our adaptor for the mixer, Ugh. Anyway, I think a dealer is buying it tomorrow. Thanks!
Dude....put some clothes on.
I was cutting the lawn and its 115 here. Sorry Judy
I usually do this drunk and naked Bozo Balls.
trying to admire the guitar but the red shorts & white socks got in the way. WTF?
Sorry, I was cutting the lawn , which is huge, and decided to take a break and do a Quick couple videos. Next time will put pants on.
@@PeterTrauth-xf9wf Ha ha, taken in good spirits mate! Great guitar by the way & nice playing!
Are you a store, do you have a website?
Are you a store, do you have a website?
Don't you think that a guitar like that deserves to be played with proper clothes on? 🤣
Yes I agree, It was just done in a hurry while I was taking a break from cutting the grass while it is 112 outside.
@@PeterTrauth-xf9wf That's OK - just pulling your leg (while it was bare...) 🙂
Sounded like lay down sally
Yawn
double yawn…nothing bothers me more than “make an offer”… I buy and sell all kind of valuable music stuff and as soon as someone says a. make an offer and b. puts it out to the world or how I usually see it in a mass email that seems to be just to you…. I back off tell them after you can’t sell it and you your wife pressures you call me and tell me what you want. Or you can die with it. Either put it in an auction and see what it is worth on the world market or put a friggin price on it…. and I am totally trippin on the guy who doesnt like bathroom language…. really? I am curious if that is Fredde Kings guitar or a guitar Freddie King owned…. there is a big difference. As Waylon came to the end all of a sudden 10-20 cowhide Tele’s surfaced that were “His”…haha…. then after he died his wife found more every month when the rent was due….so yeah… I bought it from his widow.. but i am sure this is legit… just I hate the “make an offer”…. it is a way often people who dont know what an item is worth try and find out… and often they are not gonna sell it in the end.. cause no one is gonna offer some giant pay off over the internet. No you haggle the price with the owner and that price is originally set by him or her.. How much do you need for your mortgage to eat paid off, or how much is your credit card debt…. those are the things to think about. haha I digress. Tell us a price…. any price… can be a fantasy price but give a guy something to work with…
he has it on Ebay for 50k no buyers…. The only provenance shown is a letter written by someone who owned it…maybe there is more….good luck to you brother I hope you get all the money you want…
I know this cat! nice playing amigo
Definitely not all original in my book.
I noted what was changed. Sold it very cheap so did not matter, as not everyone can afford 20k for a guitar. I think it was around 5K.
I have a 1973 version of this guitar ... UNBELIEVABLE sound. Can do with out the bathroom language, though.
Interesting, in 1985, my late friend, and bandmate in 'Snapper and The Blues Invaders', 'Big' John Buedel, owned one of King's ES-335's. He told me that he was in Dallas in the late '70s and bought it from King's widow. He played it out, and let me play a couple of times. How did I sound playing it? I still sounded like me, playing King's guitar..
I may know where that guitar is? Was it sunburst? What year?
It was red, I don't know the date of it. I'm sure his son still has it. John had loaned to the Los Vegas Hard Rick Cafe. It was on display for many years.@@PeterTrauth-xf9wf
You should try it with Norman's Rare Guitars.
How do I get a hold of you?
It was a 68 ES-345 per a write up in Vintage Guitar January 2018. That's the one Leon gave to Chris Simmons.
Yes, no kidding? That is way old news from years ago...
The Leon 345 is the only other Freddie guitar that has officially surfaced. My friend has a sunburst 335 he played early on but not sure it has been broadcasted anywhere? He is pretty private about it.
Is this the guitar that Leon Russel gave to his guitar player, Chris Simmions? It was a red one also, just like this one. It was said to have belonged to Feddy King also. How many red Gibsons did Feddy have?
That was a 345, this is the 355. Easy to see from the neck inlays...
OK, thanks. I knew about Chris Simmions because he is from Ala, not too far from me. He played with Leon a number of years. Great guy who was playing with, "It's a good day to whip somebody's ass" guy, Paul Thorn, last I heard. You can find the write up about him and Leon that was in the Jan Vintage Guitar on the internet. Good luck with the sale, it looks like a great guitar.@@PeterTrauth-xf9wf
Was it still warm from all the heat Freddie stoked outta that thing?
probably still soaked in sweat
Hey AJ's Music from Joe Nania (a.k.a. Hollywood Joe) True story here I played that guitar in 1971 when I went to a Freddy King show in New York city - It was back stage and HE came in handed me the guitar and said "Here boy " - my sister was dating Leon Russell at the time it was around the week of The Concert For Bangla Desh at Madison Square Garden - as he wiped his sweat off with a towel !
Wow, that is very cool! What a lucky show to be at.
I saw Freddie in Macon Ga back in the early 70's at a club. He was definitely playing a 335, probably that guitar?...50 years ago.
No, that was a 70's 355.
I stand corrected. (The guitar bodies look alike. I guess I didn't notice that rear selector switch)!
I could definitely see Joe Bonamassa adding this amazing guitar to his vast collection. What a great piece of history.
Plug it in brother!
An absolute gem. Thanks for sharing, hopefully new owner plays it and loves it.
Have used it on a few gigs and sounds great!
C'mon Eric! Call up AJ and do the deal!!! 😄
When 1st got this EC was interested but was not selling...True story!
what volume was that at?
Beautiful playing
Just put this speaker in my deluxe. Sounds just like this video. Clear and tons of character!
Nice 'rig'. Showcased with great guitars and playing. Cheers! 😊
THe guitarist from the "Osborn Bros", Nashville based country band, bought it and LOVES it! Have another 1956 sitting here for sale?
That was straight into the amp? Nothing but cable between axe and amp? If so, hot damn that amp sounds sweet. I’m getting one (‘67 PR) from my buddy in a few weeks and only hope I can get her set into proper condition to allow her to sing like that. Thanks for sharing. 🤙
Great choice!
Hi! How do I purchase from you without using ebay? Thanks! - Jake Byrne
It is just a stock Princeton Reverb and a cord. My friend Manuel in Peru has the guitar now and loves it!
steal.
Imho the best blues amp ever sounds just like a 5E3 but with some balls.
Sir, you sound like Clapton in a very postive sense!
Awesome!!
what a f..... sound!!! are you playin' the twin?
Such good tone!
