Mexican huichol art tumbler / Wixarika art tumbler / Timelapse
This is a time lapse of how I made my first Mexican Huichol art tumbler. It took me over 14 hours to complete this cup but it completely worth it. This tumbler has many Huichol symbols: a hummingbird, a scorpion, snake, fire, the moon, a sun, a corn plant, some peyote flowers, some eyes of God and others. Every symbols has different meanings for the Huichol/Wixarika culture, you can find more info online, or wait for my next Huichol tumbler to find out more about these symbols!

Hola tengo una pregunta porque en otros tutoriales te exigen una pega tan difícil de conseguir y usted usa una diferente que puedo conseguir quisiera saber cual es la diferencia . Me podrías explicar gracias. ¿Cómo lo sellas ? Responder en español por favor.
@@LauraEscaleraLlopiz-vn7dy holaa, creo que es lo que le funciona a cada quien, te recomendaría hacer pruebas con los pegamentos que puedas conseguir a la mano pero procura que sean pegamentos permanentes, en lo personal el e6000 a mi me funciona muy bien y es fácil de conseguir, el sellado final depende también de cada quien, se puede dar una capa ligera de resina epoxica aunque a veces pierde un poco la textura de la chaquira

Uso el pegamento e6000😊, saludos!!
Materiales que usa
Solo es chaquiras y pegamento e6000, para sujetar la chaquiras solo usé alfileres 😊

Can you list the tools you used to hold the beads and gather them?
They are just neddles😊
How do you seal the beads in afterwards? Between washing and lips touching I'd think they will start to fall off...I'm thinking resin 🤔

How do you do the edge (top) of the cup? I did my first cup last night...and the edges are umm......eh 🥴🤣
I slightly sanded it after my first coat of epoxy 😉

What size tumbler do you have?

I just did my first 2 glitter tumblers and my question is... how do you get the bottom rim smooth? I've put 3 coats of epoxy and sanded lightly but it doesn't seem like I'm getting enough epoxy on the bottom rim to get it smooth. If you have any tips it would be greatly appreciated. I used Amazing Clear Cast epoxy. Thanks.
Not sure if you see it, but check around the 22 minute and you will see a trick I always use to avoid too much sanding 😉, I'm not sure about amazing clear cast, but I use pro marine epoxy and I love it, most of the time I do just 2 coats
