What is trail hunting? On the 22nd March the Portman Hunt and the Wilton Hunt demonstrated to an audience, including Channel 4 News and their Chief Correspondence, Alex Thompson, exactly how trails are laid and hunted by hounds.

This year, as every year, tens of thousands of ordinary people from all walks of life turned out across more than two hundred locations to follow their local pack of hounds hunting within the law, demonstrating the important part that hunts continue to play within local communities and the wide support that they still have.
