He definitely was holding us up, but it is what it is. I felt he was too prideful to pull off and just wanted to run with us. Still was a fun ride.

It's too long of a ride from Tennessee/Virginia to New Zealand. And the ocean part of the ride could result in drowning. Lol. There's countless mountain roads in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina etc. Tail of the dragon is just known for the amount of turns it has. 318 in 11 miles.

I think there are better roads surrounding the area. This one just happens to be the more famous of them.

He definitely didn't look as comfortable as other riders I've been behind.

I'll replace it when I sell it, but right now, I'm just sending it 🤣.

Speaking from experience, trust me that crack will just keep on growing bigger and bigger regardless of how much you drive even with temp changes etc the wind bumpy roads give it a couple weeks to a month just be careful ok

The bike can use any of the hundred pull offs if he wants to. Mine, or my buddies car never got sideways or lost control? Why live in a world of pessimistic hypotheticals? Heres a thought, you can do what you want with your cars, and I can do what I want with mine. That's the beauty of a free country.

@@GT3Chef Glad it went well with no mishaps. Ever heard of something called a Speed Limit? Yea, that means you can't do whatever you want. As for myself, why would I have to pull my bike off the road for you or anyone els to do illegal racing? Who's following the law and who's breaking it? Look up crashes on the dragon...too many. Again, the dragon is not a race track, plenty of those around.✌️

@RobertoBren glad you can determine speed through a video 👏. You are right, you don't have to use the pull offs. But you'd have a better scenic experience if you did. Harleys are actually the most dangerous things that hit the dragon, which from the sound of it.. Im guessing you have. I sense the pride is large,If you go to the dragon, you're better off pulling off, or you'll just get bullied.

@@GT3Chef Wrong again. Been riding for 43 years which is most likely longer than you've been alive and I never owned or wanted to own a Harley. I have ridden the dragon on 4 occasions starting in 1981 when it was just Deals Gap. First time was on a Yamaha XS7502D. then other bikes throughout the years when I'm in that part of the country. I do plan on going back for another ride on the dragon since I'm only a few hours away for the next year or so. Nothing against HD, except they're overly priced and high maintenance. And I'm just not into the Harley Culture of dress like a pirate, put on 60 pounds of fat and act like a wannabe tough guy on the monthly 2 hour weekend ride...weather permitting. Lol.

The road is a bit uneven but those little twitches are predictable and connect me more to the road. It's definitely a 1st, 2nd and low/mid into 3rd road. Yessir, towards the end of march. It left me stuck on the side of the Interstate for about 20 mins until I was able to get it plugged. New rears were thrown on little over 2 weeks ago, so good to go 🤞.

It's a trip man. I will tell you that. Never stop dreaming, man. You can do and be anything you want. You're always one choice away from a totally different life. Set those goals and strive, brother.

Most definitely, I'm just trying to make an enticing title. The car doesn't really come alive until 3rd and 4th gear. Appreciate the kind words, brother 🙌. In the Appalachian Mountains, there are some really great roads, great people, and a lot to experience to be had. If you ever get the chance, highly recommend making the trip! I plan to go to Germany, Switzerland, and Italy this fall for the first time, really looking forward to it.

@@GT3Chef thats amazing! I am german, there are some really nice roads here but the most important thing i can recommend: try getting some insurance that covers the nürburgring and go for a few laps. It is absolutely amazing to drive this kind of car on a "mountain road like" racetrack without any oncoming traffic. also you beautiful car is made at and for this track. Wishin you all the best, drive safe!
