1993 Chevy Cheyenne C2500 w/ 350 and NV4500 Been parked roughly 15 years, front brakes were froze so it doesn't have any now, ecm in distributor needed changed, and doesn't run too great on bad gas but it's got 1/4 million miles so what do you expect it's just happy to be saved
1969 AMX First Fire

Freshly built AMC 343 has been transplanted into this 1969 AMX to replace the tired 390 which had spun rod bearings. It's rather cold and their is wind. We were breaking in the cam and 10 mins in oil pressure dropped to 30 and then to 15 at idle. No immediate death and danger noises so we are unsure as to what has caused it.

How does this have no comments. Sounds awesome!

Would love to see more cold starts. Maybe from the drivers side next time so we can watch what he does with the gas pedal

@ thank you!
Awesome car. Sounds great. My best friend has a 69 amx that we did a rotisserie restoration on 20 years ago. Never finished it. It has a 401 with 390 heads. It was a fn handful. Not original. But Awesome. Keep cranking on your car. Its freaking perfect.
@@samrotheray5805 thanks I appreciate it!! The original 290 decided that all the water pump bolts wanted to stay in the engine when it went out. So logic said to swap in a 390 and a 4 speed. It’s a slow process but it’s coming around.
@TheHeadStuds. Thanks for keeping the old stuff going. Ya. Definitely. That is the only way to move forward. Sounds great. I appreciate the younger generations that get dirty and build the cars.. Keep up the great work. God bless.
Ahhh those were the days!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Great video!
That’s one spicy little 304
"Mild cam"
Good project car. You'll have the only one at the show
Looks like the hubcaps are from a Hornet
That’s what I thought too, never seen them on a javelin before
Correct, the 14 in. by 6 in. rims with trim rings were the other Javelin option for 74. Hornets and Javelin shared the same hub cap.
Nice survivor. Love to see it! Hope it brings you joy wrenching.
What mufflers
My buddy Raymond put a small block 400 in his CJ5, that thing sure moved out. Your video reminded me of him, RIP Ray.
Sweet
I had a ‘74 CJ5 304ci metal top like this one. Plenty of balls great sounding. Man that thing was a ‘hoot’! 🏁👍
Beautiful sound mufLer rider
Nice! Had a buddy with a D-Stroked 400…CJ5…could carry the front end…hole shot…fun ride!
Just imagining your foot on the pedal 😌
Love CJ5s. Mine is a 75 with a 360.
I remember putting on the extenders for the leaf spring to jack up the rear a bit, back in the day. Young not much money so you did what you could. Then Gabriel shock absorbers came on the seen (for me anyway) then it was air them and go. Them and your Crager 5 spokes chrome rims with white letter tires and you were king.Aw the good old dayside miss them
Hell yeah .....
Miód...❤
Love it🤙 my 75 Levis and my daughter's 73 sound the same. Purple Hornys and both cammed.
Sweet!
sounds about right........ I have a 77 -- headers into glasspacks. Kick it!
In my opinion, someone tried to restore this car to make it look like the one in Hot Rods August 1998 magazine . Hot rod named the car RambleFish . We were not to happy with the name . Ask how I know , I still own the car 🙏 🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
You let off going into third.
Comp low lift? Love these 304's 🤙
What kind of hardtop is that?
Myers hardtop
Do y'all sale any of your builds ?
Not really

Sounds great and looks like it runs just as good 👍
Cool.
Sweet Jeep! What cam is in that 304?

@@robr4662 it's actually the 270H,sorry my fingers didn't work right, it's a ripper, pulls awesome up through the gears
@@TheHeadStuds 3 speed or 4? Which gears in back? I'm reviving a 73. It's missing it's stock v8, 3 speed, and idk which t-case.
@@xmo552 it’s my cousins, it’s got the t15 3 speed, factory gears are 4.10
Awesome - I had a 73 cj-5 with 304 blackjack headers and strait pipes - straight pipes had some bends help with sound - sounded awesome under acceleration from first to second gear
【promosm】
them were cold blooded lets say its 50 dg out you have to pump it 3 times with 3/4 choke tell you hear it start fire then slap the choke down to 2/5 percentand she run for 6 min tham push the choke in all the way
Hell a stock f150 will spin tires on dirt
That’s the way most of those old dodges were! Even if brand new, you never knew if it would start or not!
Sweet sweeeeeet sweeeeeet music
Yes!! 😄👍🏻
Sounds good
Can specs/brand. Thanks

Badass man, I wonder how long that t5 will live lol.
It was still alive when I sold it and still is as far as I know. Drove it to the track, went 12.50s and drove it home. I missed 3rd a couple of times and it didn’t really like to be powershifted into 3rd after that
What is the drivetrain setup
302, stock t5, 8.8 with 4.10 gears
