Its not China that makes them garbage. China makes Schecters and Ibanez and many other name brand guitars. When you pay a couple hundred dollars you cant expect Eddie Van Galen quality

Maybe people should realize that lots of guitars are JUNK MADE IN CHINA. The Kramer Beretta special I just bought is made in China. I'm sure there are many JUNK MADE IN CHINA guitars out there. I already have a Jackson MADE IN USA guitar. Made in the USA is is the best you can get, and you will pay for that as well.

If you buy any guitar..modify it and make it do what you want to hear, if needed. I bought a Kramer zx30h..probably around 1987. I didn't know anything about guitars back then, didn't know how to set up intonation. Nothing. I just wanted a solid body guitar with a trem unit. After years of learning, I modified it to suit my own needs. Got rid of the string tree, installed a roller nut and locking tuners, had jumbo frets installed..and then had to modify those to create a compound radius neck, changed pickups and wiring etc etc. The point is the guitar is only a tool for self expression. I wrote to, Bill Thomas, I believe that was his name, the then CEO of Fender guitars about my complaints of the current manufacturing process...etc. Probably around 2010, Apparently they listened and modified their guitars around 2012, straight sting pull through the nut, locking tuners, compound radius neck, but the wiring of that thing is just, well, doesn't make sense, to me. Sounds good..but not exactly what I want to hear. I bought the Fender 2012 Deluxe American Strat..had to modify that as well. Get some Graphtech saddles, (no more broken strings) and am currently getting rid of the weird wiring diagram, or design they installed on the guitar. Doesn't make sense to me. I bought some pre-made Dragonfire pickup configuration in a similar pick guard...but gives me a coil tap switch to split the bridge pup, instead of all the weird stuff Fender had going on. I have yet to install that, and I bought that months ago. But the point is to educate yourself and make your instrument do what YOU want it to do. Trial and error. Don't be afraid to change stuff to be you, or hear what you want to hear.

I bought a KH-Ouija Replica from Ali Express and it was way off, the recessed floyd routing was too small so I had to route it about 1/8" wider and the back pocket was about 3/4" too far towards the bottom of the guitar, also the neck was bigger than a baseball bat so I had to sand the neck down and Tung oil it so it at least played. also the fake EMG pickups sounded strange, they were at least active but muddy as hell. took me 2 weeks to dial it in but it's somewhat playable.

It doesn’t sound sad to me. You must’ve been trying to pull yourself out. I wrote a lot of my music in a very dark and depressed state given the timing. Glad you found your way out.

Hey Ryan T I wanted to let you know I bought 3 awesome guitars and building one for half of the cost of a damn Charvel that comes with major issue and tuning problems and cracks around the neck pocket after a few months. Plus they are built in Mexico or overseas. If USA wants to charge premium prices it should be made better and built here in the USA and have a certificate of build. Here is just one of the 4 I just got. It’s the Lynch guitar. Plays amazing and stays in tune very good without the screws going through the neck,

The funniest videos are the guys that bash the guitar right off the bat and tells you not to buy these they are total junk. But he bought one, Because the truth behind it is it was freaken awesome and he don’t want the prices and people to start buying them. But the real truth is I have a couple and they are by far the best 250.00 I ever spent on a guitar that stays in tune and sounds awesome and looks amazing the paint jobs are amazing and buffed to mirror finish, you need to give credit where it stands sometime, I’m tired of bashers. If like spending 3,000 for a guitar that’s no better then go right ahead and waist your money. I build custom stuff too then you realize the Work these people do.

Cry cry cry but you saved yourself tons of money and it did look good and wasn’t hard work to fix. Damn don’t you give anyone credit. But most guitars are from Overseas and the USA stores stick it in our you know what thats bullshit and I’m not buying a high end stuff that’s has fret sprouts and cracks in the neck pocket and pay 1,300 no more. I love watching people bash the China people for great work they do and they take pride in their time with the guitars. And their prices of guitar are the right price that it should be but the USA like to stick it to us. That’s so freaken sad if ask me.

I'm 32 and everything I get a guitar in the mail from Sweetwater I sit like you. Like a very excited kid opening up his presents on Christmas day. When I'm in my 60s. I imagine I'll still be doing the same. Rock on man. I'm waiting for my kramer striker to arrive.

If you are just gonna play this in your home studio or bedroom, then it's a good deal. Doesn't hurt to know the basics of adjustments and changing components. I have bought Chinese guitars before and it all depends on what company. Grote makes some nice affordable guitars that sound and perform close to a 1000 dollar guitar.
