The only real issue with the newer built VR motor(19,20,21,22 )is turbo seals. This is usually the issue when you WOT the car without upgrading the heat e changer. Just buy the Z1 turbos or extrnd yoyr warranty.

you only have to massage the body where the tails go when swapping oem s2 tails onto an s1 car. you don't have that issue with aftermarket tails. did your light on the dash stay on as well?

I hear u for your reason but I think ur biggest reason was the price jus my opinion then your reasons follow my boy has both with bolt ins and it’s night and day the 2016 3.0t facelift and handles way better than the previous yr. The 3.0t is a fn beast when tuned fbo your talkin hellcat territory on the highway but to each there own nice car btw
