Rota is a genuine Island Paradise in the Western Pacific. In 1965 I was on a 66 foot AVR boat that ran aground in a storm just a couple of hundred yards off Song Song Village. I was literally shipwrecked there for 19 days. It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Imagine if you will a young 17 year old sailor running amok unsupervised on a beautiful island with the most wonderful people in the world. I still dream about that...

마지막으로 현지에서 조언해주고 도와주신 한인 슈퍼마켓 직원과(망고맛 메로나 로타섬에서 2015년에 처음 먹어봤습니다) 로타 현지 해양연구센터 건물 관리하시는 기념품상점(?) 운영하시는 여성분께 감사드립니다. 송송빌리지 건물 외벽에 있는 수도꼭지에서 물 2~3번정도 camelbak 3L 반정도 보급 후 하루에 15km정도씩 걸어서 돌아다니는데 큰 도움이 되었습니다!

Thanks for video! I can remind again my trip, 2015 Mar. Lovely place with kind people. I owe big time in there. Delay almost 12hours in guam airport to rota, So We arrived in 1~2AM around. After few days...Tropical storm Bavi & Infamous over-booked - United airline dumping 10+ passenger. So We had to use arctic airline small prop plane to saipan. But Good memory & Lot of chance to roam around by foot. Yes, I had no idea about rent car company in here - All closed When I landing in 1AM :P Thank You for Joel Charfarous and his son(I had no information about closed hotel... until Drive with you - Lot of out dated information on website in 2015) & Senior citizen(Last name is manglona) nearby pinatang park who gladly invite stranger in night time & Senior citizen who manage 7th day adventist church(I owe you a lot, Good care while storm hit the island) & Fisher who gladly treat wahoo(First time to see that huge fish ) & Flower shop owner who invite and share dinner party & Mr.Yamamoto sang and his wife(Same flight to arrive, Ride for teteto beach - Full moon with stars 2015.03.06 Maybe) & Government workers(Mayor & Chief of alchol addiction department & chief of Police department who introduce local botanical life & airport police & local police & fire-station crew & trade company workers - He said visiting my country in 2015 May, But I had no return e-mail from him - Seems plan had been changed)
