I wonder if the local poor people who live in that area frequent this business?
Great doc!

We're in a bit of a pickle - funds disappeared, but there's hope for recovery.
Every one should own at least one custom tailored suit. I remember getting fitted for one for a job I had. The management paid for me to go to a small shop and get one made. When I got the suit and tried it on I was in awe. Custom fits make you look way better. The suit defines you, since it was made for just you. It's a great art that needs to kept up.
I hate the 21st century
A nice character, and a fine tailor as well I'm sure.
Delighted to find the beautiful little documentary. I was born in Lake Forest but I never knew this story. This made my day!
Love this !
wow!
Very nice he making clothes that are made the correctly by hand
Expertly filmed. What a gentleman.
Charming! nothing comes close to tailored for true value as it doesn't end up quickly discarded...
It's wonderful to see people with these skills. I'm so happy to hear your daughter will take over the shop when you retire. More woman are getting into custom tailoring. We need more young men and woman to keep this skill alive. The quality and fit of the suit and jacket will be excellent, will not go out of style for a long time and will be more comfortable to wear. More and more people are going to thrift stores to find these suits. Plus once people see and feel the incredible suiting fabrics still produced in Great Britain and Europe, it's hard to settle for less. I've just turned 75 and I'm finally learning to sew traditional custom tailoring! I find it fascinating.
Nice. God bless you 😇
Absolutely Beautiful
Thank you
truly inspirational
The red barion would be pleased.
That was a VERY condensed story of "Ye Old Pub".
No sabaton lyrics on the comment
The war can make killers but also heroes. No matter victorious or saving others. “You’re trained to be a soldier, not a killer.” (Forgot who says that.)
Loved seeing this. Hope you are all blessed!
Huge chunks of the story are missing but very well done....Nice upload. 👍👌
Love this story. Heard it before. 👍 great warriors and great honor.
This animation 🤯
I think this is terrible Those guys can get new planes and bomb germany again
Ciccio - You are the best! Loved watching this. God Bless you and your family!
Honor between warriors is something lost these days. You see it mostly exemplified in our athletes. People are more about themselves than they are about honor and fairness. It's disheartening to see the generations coming up. Who are more concerned with, pink uniforms, equal opportunity, and hand outs. Over standing shoulder to shoulder with your fellow comrads. And having each other's backs.

Franz Stigler veteran pilot with 27 kills i think idk
Ye Olde Pub is the name of the plane
I think that 'Nazi' is these days used as a generic meaning Kraut, German, Hun, Wotever, of the Nazi (oops) German forces in WW2. Not a reference to the guy's politics. (All English were Limeys whether they liked citrus or not, all New Zealanders Kiwi whether they could fly or not ...)
Stigler was a not a party member. In-fact, like most of the German Airforce members, he was an anti-Nazi. They were not given any option. Also, they had the responsibility of protecting their country from allied bombing. Bombs don't distinguish between Nazis and non-Nazis.
I know that my opnion will be unpopular, but Franz was within his rights to finish off that B 17 as there was no indication of surrender from the crew. Also some of the P 47 pilots that I have seen on youtube clips shooting up farmers could have done with some of Frans compassion.
@@alanholloway1264 I guess Franz chose "doing the right thing" instead of "doing something within his rights". If you read the book, you will see why "Only love can heal", something we often forget. Have a meaningful day :-)
@@only4anindyaMany Ace Luftwaffe pilots that saw a fellow pilot shoot down the enemy pilots or caused their death. We're often in trouble with them severely.
@noobie_3 noobie_03 soldiers dont declare wars. soldiers fight. it is the politicians who declare war

Stigler was not a Nazi.
That was great!
