Walking Santa Ana River near Norco - STOP Above Ground High Transmission Lines!
Переглядів 103Рік тому
Rebutting SC Edison's Claims about High Transmission Lines. On November 3, 2023 I walked the lines from Riverside to the Santa Ana River where it became impassable. What was found was very interesting. The proposal to above ground by Edison and others is simply foolhardy and should be stopped.

Kareem was my little brother's best friend, they did everything together, sad that just the day before my brother got a video of Kareem talking to the kids saying don't be scared were friends, then next day he is gone,my brother was the first to know after his mom got the news... RIP KAREEM,keep the gates of Valhalla safe for us
I appreciate these fun facts and videos you post. Thank You Mayor.
1:53 Wow a true act of Selflessness and Courage to jump on an Enemy Hand Granade. A true Hero.
Thank you for the bit of history, Mayor Bash! Gene Peestor (spelling?) was my neighbor in the 70’s! We lived on Hillside, right across the street from Wiley Laboratories. Other neighbors were Lee Sabin, the McKees, and the Patrick and David Blankenship.
I just got out of crc
I love Norco!!!!!
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing for those of us that do not get the opportunity to go inside 👍
Norco is a powerful prescription pain killer : Oxycodone ...They named their city after drugs. (?)
Oxycodone was developed decades after Norco was on the map. Norco means NORth COrona.
Thank you for your service and rip
It actually worked when there were weights and low self esteem prisoners could get healthy and come back to the real world….
Brings back memories. I worked at the prison for several years as a facilities manager, then as the Business Manager. Very sad to see its condition now.

Nice tribute reel. Well done.
What hollywood did to him, travesty. There are a few actors as good as Michael. None better though.
One of the Egyptian champions in the Olympics is Farid Sumaika, the Egyptian diving champion, who was born on June 12, 1907 in Alexandria. He is considered the first Egyptian and Arab player to win the silver and bronze medals in diving in the Olympic Games. Sumaika won two medals in one tournament, the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, where he won the fixed ladder silver and the moving ladder bronze, as well as in the 1932 World Diving Championship. Farid Sumaika retired in 1935 at the height of his brilliance and worked as a coach for the Egyptian Olympic diving team, which participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Sumaika broke into the world of Hollywood cinema by appearing as a stunt double in dangerous scenes in Tarzan films with Johnny Weissmuller and in the movie Overseas, and he participated in his jumps in some of the famous documentaries produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer about scuba diving, which are double diving in 1939 and water sports in 1941. The end of the Olympic champion of Egypt was tragic, as he was killed on September 11, 1943 in Makassar, Indonesia, by the Japanese in World War II, where he participated with the American army in the war after joining the army as a result of his previous knowledge of aviation, when his plane was shot down in Indonesia and captured, then he was cut off. his head and hung it on the walls of the camp in which he was arrested with some soldiers to create panic in the hearts of the Americans. The US government, informed Farid Sumaika's family of his death and considered him a martyr in 1945 and honored him with a military medal. Then his son, in turn, became a fighter pilot in the US army, while Egypt named a street in Heliopolis, Cairo, after him.

Very interesting thanks for sharing with us James. I have never seen this place or really knew about it.
USNH Long Beach has since been found to be partially intact. And, USNH Corona was the only example of the Navy purchasing a resort and converting it to a standalone Navy General Hospital: all other resorts were used for ambulatory patients and returned at the end of the war.
The audio going back and forth from mono to stereo in my headphones drove me NUTS!
My mother, Pharmacists Mate 3rd Class Anna Rylaarsdam worked the TB unit from late 1945 through 1946. The phot of the nurse taking care of other nurses who had gotten TB was taken by my mother and I furnished a copy of it to the guy who made this documentary.
This looks like a compilation of films from different years. The footage of the parade going from right to left looks like late 70s. The red AMC wagon at 19:58 is from the mid-70s. Same for the Dodge patrol car at 21:49.
Thanks, I was there then...
Watch out for sgt vandorford !
Lt. Medley was a piece of work . With his crookedest eye looking all crazy 🤣
Thank you so much for posting this! I loved Down to Earth! If only more episodes of these old TBS sitcoms are still around!
I was a patient there before being moved to CMC in SLO County and then deported to Germany in the 1999-2000. Both facilities were COOL 😎 😎 .
We drove up to drop a couple dudes off. I looked around an said kinda loud that it was GHETTO. 1985. Tore up. One black dude refused to get off. The baffled him up an forced him off. If there's one prison that needs to be mothballed it's C.R.C. SHOTOUT PLACE.
This fukkn place, is the shining!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I hated this place.
As a prisoner or employee??
You were supposed to hate the place not love it Lol
In 1983 I was on the boxing team in YTS. And we went to CRC a few times to box against the CRC boxing team a few times.
And you got knocked the fuck out

@@jessemiranda5582 orale firme. A dude named henry Tillman was on our team, he went on to win the gold medal in the 84 Olympics. I wasn't disciplined enough to stay with it and ran them streets until I got clean at age 43. Been ok since. Hope all is good with u nowadays. 🙏

WOW! The memories of the Norconian. I didn't know how good condition it still is in, at least 15 years ago...
You showed the actors who have visited Norco including Lucy and Desi. They had their ranch off Lincoln in Corona until the cheese factory demolished it.
Born and raised from birth, 1969 till I meet my wife in 1988. Mom and dad bought their JR Spread home new in 64 on Indian Horse Dr. Culdesac. Was the only single story of the 4 houses on the street. Dad passed in 2016. Mom's dementia was advanced so we moved in to keep her in her home until she met dad again 2 years later. We purchased the house and were there for only 2 years until moving out of state. I'm a Norconian for life and visit it when I'm in town like last week. The new Norco is not the Norco it was meant to be which is quite unfortunate. High school days in the mid 80s is the Norco intended. There was no possibility to drive with the "10&2". It may have been in the "2" position but the "10" was too busy waving at the opposing vehicle because we all knew each other. We were all friends.... we we all family..... family of us Norconian's. This was a wonderful documentary! I "thought" I knew the history pretty well but learned a lot more of the small town I grew up and began my adult life in. Great job of your research here sir! Great job!

Condolences from Canada.
Regardless of how much I hate what the democrats have done to the people of this country. I am still proud to be an American. It's brave men and women like these fallen HEROS that give me the will and hope that our great nation will root out the evil within and take back America for the people who love it.
