The 48 and co. routes have discarded the brand. All light blue front urban buses with that brand haver either had the brand wiped off, or the "tap on, tap off" thing over it. They're mostly seen on X39s now. Speaking of X39, they don't use the aquae brand. They are now used with false branding on other routes, such as the 43, 522 and disturbingly the T1, Y1, Y2 and Y6 routes. Some still have the "Bath to Bristol direct" on the back, some don't. When I went to Bristol Bus Station a few weeks ago when I did the X1 badgerline, I noticed at the bay for the 39/X39 that it no longer is under the line of aquae, and has now fallen into the brand of BathCity, which is also why you're starting to see a bit more BathCity Enviro 400s on X39s.
