“...Bravest Marine I Ever Seen, Hector”
Sgt Nance embarks on a recon mission alone, or so he thought. Excellent demonstration of self-sacrifice. He understand what it means to go recon the area alone but goes anyway telling his subordinate to carry on their original mission of protecting the civilians.
This scene reminds me of “attitude reflects leadership” and “actions speak louder than words.” He goes it alone but his men (and woman) follow him into the sh*t again.
Perfect song too.

Before I saw this movie I’ve heard dozens of times how good looking Brad Pitt was. In this movie everything about him is beautiful. He’s also a fine actor.
Held the phone real steady for this one. Good job!
7 years late to the party, bro
one of the most underrated films ever
Don't blow smoke up my ass. You'll ruin mu autopsy.
I love you, Jenny Hayden
All time favourite movie .,.,, has me in floods 😢 every single time
3 hours is not long enough for this movie !
Lifestyles of the Rich and shameless. Like these effing people have any morals.
I was married once to a man I know wirhour a doubt was my soul mate. He was also similar to Hopkins character - respected and loved by all who knew him. So... I think of him every time I see this...and every time, I melt into tears.
Death comes for us all be not afraid
Maybe it's just me, but this scene as they walk off together reminds me of the story in last Harry Potter film about the man giving up the invisibility cloak & greeting Death as an old friend.
Great film this was shot down the street from me in Warwick RI remember it like yesterday
If death looked like this then I would happily go with death .this film is too cryptic
The hardest thing to do in the end is to let go.
What movie is this?
Battle: Los Angeles
Питт Сьюзан такая красивая пара они любят друг друга любовь все поборит.
This scene makes wants me want to be a better man. Someone I can be proud of when I pass on.
Back in 1971, I inadvertently got a glimpse of where they went to on the "other side". I loved this movie as it has so much life in it.
Brad Pitt is the most handsome man and most talented person in the world 🎊 ❤
Such a moving and important scene should never be posted in such a horrible quality pirate clip.
Oh I knew it this movie is in the MCU!! That building was in that scene when... Just kidding in sure some of the fanboys are watching, trying to relate.
Yes, it 🙏 ♥ is...
I always wondered what happened with Bill body...
She is just gorgeous!
I had a near fatal heart attack and I saw death, it didn't look like Brad Pitt.
Love this movie.. Always cry in this scene. I always wonder what happen to the body after he walked away..
BP is the most gorgeous man and such a good actor.
you could have at least finished the scene😠
This movie is absolutely epic the acting is top notch the storyline is deep it’s one of those movies that should make you stop and think and appreciate the smallest of things
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Truly a work of art.
I’m amazed that I don’t remember ever knowing this movie even existed. Glad I stumbled into some of the clips here.
Well, great movie, check it out.
In peer reviewed studies on *veridical Near Death Experiences most are peaceful, but 20% or one out of five are not and no one talks about them. Depending on the level of evil these people were, inside their soul, depended on the nature of their Distressed NDE. Did you really think a hateful person is allowed peace? An evil greedy and ravenous person who never considered changing for the good of the people around them or who they affected for the worse gets allowed into Heaven? Would there be any Justice or Peace if the likes of an unrepentant Hitler, Stalin or Mao were in Heaven? *A veridical NDE is where someone while clinically dead reports what happened, often in great detail, actions they couldn't possibly know. This is including people who had been born blind or deaf who could could see and hear for the first time in their lives.
"Meet Joe Black" is one of the most overlooked masterpieces of American cinema. Death and Taxes = Pitt and Hopkins. And while I know little about Claire Forlani I am entranced by her beauty and have come to understand that she embodies LIVING, the very human connective tissue (or plot-driven peanut butter) between taxes and death. Susan is TIME, the dramatic unity and as such, her character experiences the progress of the plot. She is buffeted throughout, but it is also Susan who is the only mortal alive at the story's end. As a reward for loving us and guiding us throughout, Joe's body and soul are returned to her by Death. With a dash of dramatic license and a bit of help from forgetfulness, Joe and Susan (and we) are allowed to LIVE again. Why? To benefit from what we have learned in three hours--seemingly a lifetime for some and not nearly enough time for others. PS: The musical score is brilliant. The swell of joy at the movie's end invariably leaves me in tears... and probably you too. Thanks for reading.
No Steven… thank you! This was a wonderful read. Well thought and very well written. This movie is amazing. The writing, the musical score, the meaning and delivery. And your comment just gave it that much more life. Thank you.
❤🎉🥲
Thank you for your interpretation, so accurate and right!
Thanks for uploading this. Such a powerful, moving scene. Brings tears to my eyes every time. When Cassie has her change of heart and runs back to splinter to 1957 with Cole. That final shot of Jones standing with her machine while time collapses around her. And you’re right to highlight that music. Really makes the scene.
....like the legends of a fall...
Shiloh jolie pitt when her hair was short...so much like brad pitt now...very similar...
How did I miss this movie ?
He should be afraid he’s going to hell. I’m sorry did I offend someone? Hell does exist you know?
I guess you can't wear a human body ...and not feel human 😕 💔
Hopkins is brilliant.
In do much pain. Prayers needed. Suspect colon cancer. Nobody doing operations. Nobody doing colonoscopies.
It's absolutely heartbreaking
Why doesn't he go spend time with the poor kids that get shot to death in Chicago ect? Don't have enough money?
Brad Pitt died at the end of this movie due to a long battle with cancer. RIP
I try to figure out what would happen after this scene. I always thought that the to person to who the body of Pit's character belongs to is the number one suspect for murder of the Hopkins character. I mean, the daughter sees them walk away together. Then he returns alone with amnesia. I assume her dad's body is somewhere back there.
I love this movie and this scene is priceless.
The man to die has a smile on his face and Mr Death is all tears ..! Amazing moment
Not quite. He gets pretty chipper when he's talking to the Jamaican lady! Everyting gwarn be iree. And, he and Anthony Hopkins get pretty light hearted when they're working over that Drew fellow...Death and Taxes! I've even used that line myself.
It gets me every time! So sad when his daughter follows them knowing that's the last time she'll see her dad.
Speechless😢
