The Merc's each step taken shook and cracks the ground like a 12-magnitude earthquake. Mercs nearby were horrified by the sight. As The Merc descended the stairs and reached the door, everyone felt their souls being drawn out their bodies as they laid eyes on the scene before them. Night City had no witnessed anything like this since 2023, and they never would again, as the lucky Mercs who saw it first hand would later recount. Afterlife was having its historic moments. Moving through the stunned onlookers, the figure reached Rogue's lodge and placed Adam Smasher's head on the table. Sitting down, and said, "Hello Rogue!
