Testing banana cables
This video is about how to weed out bad cables. Checking with the multi meter and seeing the resistance measurement is not about knowing the actual resistance but seeing that the cable is good. That the cable is very low resistance and not open circuit or intermittent.

Describing some details about sustained sounds, the vca/slew circuits, and oscillator sync. No effects or much of any EQ or compression on the Double Knot audio. Is this Buchla compatible? ... Also, how do you know what inputs/outs does what? there is no information on the panel. Or do you have to memorize from the manual?

I'd say 6" or 8" cables, 10 of them is good to start with.
