@dr.cruelladevil7101 I did a masters in clinical research. I think it helps in a lot of ways but it is not an easy process.

Thank you for your comment 😊 I suggest you bring some butterfly needles, vacutainers, blood sample tubes, IV cannula set and urinary catheter. Because the set they lend you has seen a lot of people and hence all of them have something missing.

@@golvashtavakolian6615 To sum up, you’ll need 1. A consultant’s email, 2. A good email text 3. A good CV highlighting the experiences or work why you are interested in the area you are applying for. A good email text includes your introduction (who you are, what you are currently doing), your intent in the attachment and your future goals, you can mention the month you want to do your attachment if you have time restriction but it’s better if you tell this when they ask you in my opinion, your visa-immigration status (in my case i said I am already in the UK on a graduate visa but you can say that you have a visa until X date or you can obtain one fast and you can do all the paper work yourself). I recommend finding a consultant that you honestly admire and look as a role model. E.g. someone who has done research/procedures in an area you are particularly interested in. This way you can build a set of goals and tell them what you want to learn. I also added my Proof of Good Standing from my country. P.s. keep sending emails. Don’t give up. If they don’t respond or decline, request a feed back on where you can improve. They might see this as a good thing and change their minds or it can simply help for your future applications. And try A&E. Almost every speciality has its emergencies. You can learn and maybe you can arrange another attachment in gen surg. while you’re there. Hope this helps!

Hello! Very good question. I would like to answer it in a video as well if you are okay with it. I didn’t have to think about it much because I have a graduate visa. But I know from my friends that they get a 3-6 months visa for the exam and they arrange a clinical attachment on a date after their exam. Securing a clinical attachment takes 3-4 months of emailing back and forth. So you need to plan ahead. Finding a job without doing an attachment is not 100% but nearly impossible. It took 5 weeks to prepare for me because of certain life situations. I definitely don’t recommend you to prepare in such short time 😂 But I will publish a video this weekend explaining how you can pass it in a short time and also how to prepare for it in a more flexible time frame.

No, 1 room is for 1, but kitchen is shared

Rooms are en-suite, meaning each room is for one person and have their own bathrooms. Each Flat has 7 rooms and a common kitchen. But not all rooms are full. So you share the kitchen with maximum of 7 people. However unfortunately the building in this video is spared to the Uni students now. Other buildings are not as new.

No it was Eaton (E) building in this video but I think building C is similar to this one 😅. The second time I stayed there I was in Duddon Building, rooms and kitchen was smaller.

How was ur experience at MoShoby? Can u elaborate the schedule and the lecture topics being taught der and for how many days. Is staying der necessary or can do up down?

F2F classes take 1 week. I stayed there for a week at the end of may and come back for another 2 weeks in July. But I recommend staying more.

You have to practice with the manikins, attend mocks and take your signature class. It’s also good to practice with people f2f. You need to study for this exam very well. I did a mistake of practicing only for 3 weeks due to some personal reasons.

@naghmasiddiqui8035 Most people book their class for a date just before their exam. I booked mine for a date that’s 4 days before my exam. Booking needs to be made at least 2 weeks ahead though, so don’t leave it until the day you want to take it, staff is not very helpful in these matters 🙃

I think at least 3 weeks ahead AFTER YOU FINISH ALL the online part and did some sufficient online practicing. Not because clinical part require that much time to study but academy schedule changes a lot and you’ll have mocks, signature class & some time off as well. So better to have substantial amount of time. That way if you miss sth in one week you can catch it in the next. I did a mistake of coming here for only 2 weeks and not practicing, finishing topics etc. beforehand. Learn from my mistakes 🥹

Hello doctor. I have no information about your case. There are no health requirements to take the exam however I’d advise you to check your county’s visa requirements.
