Arthur Brown - Fire (mono version)
Переглядів 2,1 тис.4 роки тому
This is the first version of "Fire" that I heard, back in the 60's on WABX in Detroit. It doesn't have the horns and extra "processing" that the "hit" version had. I prefer this one.

Teegarden & VanWinkle - Can't Get Enough of Your Love
Fabulous as usual 👌
The older I get and the more I hear them the more underrated this band gets. I think Wild Thing was good for them in the beginning but not so good in the end. They should be remembered for a lot more songs. A lot lot more.
Agree 💯
I saw this faulous film at the Omni Theatre at the Museum of Science in Boston when it first came out…it is gorgeous!!! I brought several of my students who were either blind or visuall impaired and they listened to the Descriptive Headsets to understand what was happening on the screen while becoming very involved in the music. They all loved it and one said she knew the divers were safe at one point because of the emotional shifts in the music following a very fearful bit when they were very low on oxygen!!! Its a must-see for everyone!!! Brilliantly photographed as well!!! 💚🙏🏻🌎☮️
❤❤
Happy birthday 79 to Bob Seger born May 6, 1945 Life is like a big river sinkin' or swim, depends on you you can take or you can be a giver if you got love you're gonna get through once, a good woman loved me kinda cruel, and she left me one day now I'm cyin', she loves another gotta go alone the rest of the way take, the advice of a loser who's been livin' too long alone follow your heart follow your rainbow and one day you'll find you are not alone
I'm headin' to Atlanta Leavin' on a Delta plane Uh huh, all right I'm headin' to Atlanta Leavin'on a Delta plane Uh huh, good good I'll carry my trenchcoat But I sure don't think it's gonna rain Ah ah, oh no The gold is in my pockets Caps and tabs are in my sleeves Ah ha Gold is in my pockets Caps and tabs are in my sleeves Oh yeah Stand to make a thousand If I can just get past the thief Oh yeah, oh there they are, ohhh I'm a junk runner honey Hotter than the noonday sun Oh mercy I'm a junk runner honey Hotter than the noonday sun Oh yeah, come true If I don't make Orlando You know my runnin' days are done
How do you get 9 bars so precisely? Mine shot up to 12-14 sometimes or low at 4 sometimes… how fine was your grind for that shot? Thanks
Not his best effort but you gotta start somewhere.
Chris was the limit!!!!!!
The Greatest Musician ! ❤️
Absolutely great !! ☝️
is there a way to adjust pressure?
This song was written by Mitch Ryder from Mitch Ryder And The Detroit Wheels
Some really tasteful guitar playing on this track.
Love Chris Youlden
Thanks for posting this gem. I got this album for a Buck back in 1971 as a teenager and was jealous and awestruck by the young Jimmy McCullough.
ain't this the truth babe😢
This tune has just passed the 100,000 views
Cool stuff, I caught this recently. Within a year. I like
Written by the keyboardist, Andy Solomon
1966
Great band ❤❤❤
"Summertime" is not to compared with bland pop like "Love is all around" .... it is more sexual or more perverse ( and a great song), Wet Wet Wet would never covered it . For those who seek a similar atmosphere , Coutin "J'aime regarder les filles"
❤️
Well remember this'n!
Lovely guitar
Most beautiful love song Rod my beautiful star
Today, as far as I can remember, and these days that's not always too far, is the first time I heard this. Kind of creepy at first, yet after a bit and sharing with my hubby of 43 years, it's funny too. Ah, the good old days.
Yeah, it's creepy.
hard baad troggs
Cool old stuff. I just turned 55 and It's cold and snowy here so it's fitting you put this up. Think Warm things. What better than Beautiful Woman.
Wow, I remember Wild Thing, but this is too cool. I’m not sure who I’d compare it to. 👍🏼
I thought this record came out in the 60's. I just looked it up it was released in 1975.
I wish Blue Matter was on Spotify- but it isn’t
Isn't this also called 'Flying' ?
No, Flying is a different song.
Sexy weird with hard rhythm ..love it.. fu fu fu...faces
Justdiscovered this ...fantastic
Me encantan,buen descubrimiento, gracias
Courageous guitar and vocals!
What is this based on ?
Weirdness I guess...lol...
Mongrel the best
Great version. but not the original UK release.
Love the Troggs, they could rock it with any garage band with "Wild Thing" then do a 360 to perfection with "Love is all around" shows the versatility these guys had.
Whenever you're ready
Love it..
Powerful... <3
Quite possibly the most underrated group in the history of modern music. As the kids say: this shit slaps.
I'm from Detroit (blow the reveille)! I wasn't allowed to go to The Easttown/Grande gigs. (kinda young + _parents_ ) But, I _think_ Metro-Detroit was one of their biggest 'fan-bases' in _'The States'._ Maybe cuz they liked doing Hooker songs? Peace. Stay Healthy! - Dave B.
We dug 'em in So Cal too! Though I've resided in Humboldt since '72......you know the place!
@@raybrown2608 *Yup!* _'green-'n-sticky'._ (I lived in SoCal too) (but....not the real Jello) - Dave B.
@@jellobiafra2810 Oh kay, my bad, but how could I know? (He was here to support Julia Butterfly, the chick that lived in the tree...)
10 /11
Bless you John Lee Hooker
One of my all time favorites. Youlden was the man. They always put on a great show.
Been listening to this band since the late 60s and I never get tired of listen to them and I'm 65. They're the best of rock n roll.
Same age brother & started at the same age (a brother, 7 yrs. older is where I lay credit to) most of my friends were into what the masses dictated they should listen to, I like a lot of "B" side stuff from many bands just because of that, I doubt you were much on "big hair" or ballad bands either!
Me too. I'm 66. Just love this raw blues!
