Rod Stewart at his best!

I remember seeing ads for this band in Rolling Stone and National Lampoon. The ads were for a record club and I wondered what they were all about, now I know.

Last time I listened to Ollie, in Paris, with the Kevin Ayers Band, it was the end , Nico, the singer fell out of the stage and miraculously went back to sing again, Ollie was way out, playin' a Strat like Jimi, slidin' the neck against the mikstand, unfortunately loosin' faith in reality...Ollie, my friend , you're with me forever (although it might sound extreme...Life, you know !)

One more, about that music & musicians : It's a long time gone now but, back in the seventies I listened to Tempest in a brand new concert hall in Chelles, France... No promotion, nothing... Fifteen people in the audience for a few hundred capacity !! Ollie Halsall made, alone, the show with a white SG, a little keyboard , helped by Hiseman on drums and former Uriah Heep bass player. These kinda scenes teach you what Rock 'n Roll is all about.

Well man, so little recognition ... You must have lived at that time. Ollie, to me, is that guitar heroe no one will never know about, Patto is exactly the kind of band majors couldn't handle, so they ended up breaking them apart, as hoped !! I miss Ollie and Mike, still love their rock groove after 50 years .

This is more Dave than Edmunds to me...Jupp new what he wanted...early Stones too

This is a great jazz album and sounds amazing.

This was my first and only album of Magna Carta. It's wonderful music which i enjoy listening until this day. I'm turning 70 this year.

Hey Oscar, you're not by yourself, they're all dead but still exist... My friend Ollie gave me so much, Tempest Time... This band, Mike Patto singin' his truth...Too much for a major...50 years now, once in a while I trip and get back to youth time . Cheers !!

Strange, and a bit sad that this album has stayed on the shelf for over 50 years.. the price for being imaginative in another age I guess. Also I notice that Ian Carr's Nucleus seem to be like an in-house group for a few of the early Vertigo recordings.
