How it's changed!! That used to be my walk to school at Eirias High School from Old Colwyn. I see the night club opposite the leisure centre has gone... I moved out of the area in 1992, not visited much since.

Thank you for your video. As noted in the comments, most of the views are of the town of Rhyl in Denbighshire (the harbour, the marine lake and the town looking across the estuary of the River Clwyd that divides Kinmel Bay from Rhyl. I was very excited to see the arial view of Kinmel Bay (looking West from above Rhyl Harbour) beyond the blue road bridge (2:03-2:21) but was slightly disappointed that the video changed shot just before my home came into view. Lovely views of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) in the distance beyond Kinmel Bay (in the county of Conwy.) You must have launched your drone on the beach that is my grandchildren's favourite place for building sand castles and bonfires (from drift wood.)

Looks nice and I see pathways but how do you get to them? all the times I driven past it I've never seen a car park or a way up to the top, entrance must be well hidden 🤔

Nice views but it would have been so much more interesting with some historical information instead of that awful background noise that passes for muzak. Is there any remnants of the old quarry works for example and where are they? What is the ruin at 2:40, for example? And the line of rocks at 2:45? I've never been up on the Little Orme despite living in its shadow for most of my childhood so it would be nice to remember it for more than the number of deaths of young chaps falling off it in search of birds' eggs!

My Mum and Dad took me there for the first time 67 years ago, when I was 3. My spinster aunts, Nora and Jane Hutt, had a fish and chip shop in Prestatyn, and a bungalow in Talacre. We went back every summer until 1968. And later, when had cars, and the freedom of movement that deranged eco-"climate"-fascists want to take away from us, often on day trips, with my wife and our son. I have seen many beaches around the world. That is one of the most beautiful.

Great video, I have lived in Llandudno all my life and have been on the Great Orme hundreds if not thousands of times where the gun emplacements are known as millionaires' row, And I have never seen the three gun emplacements close to the water in this video, there are three other which I have been too many times before, I will have to go and investigate at the first opportunity thanks so much for the video, Have always been aware that we live in a lovely area the video just goes to prove it.😊

6.2023. Does not look like this now the Council have destroyed it all with huge rocks and a crappy truncated fishing pier. How are people meant to get their line over the huge breakwater directly in front of the fishing pier, not to mention the horrendous arguments just to get a spot that will cause. 2023 and all the Council can come up with is more shitty rocks, as if the sight of them ugly wind turbines did not wreck the coast enough.. A concrete sea wall would have suited better, like Blackpool, not all them ugly rocks... looks like a pile of shit Old Colwyn front now. Like a bad joke disused Quarry, Conwy Council have trashed the beach with this puke. Also the works in Rhos have been w****d off by Griffthis contractors for months. They proper dragging it out beyond a joke!!!! Squeezing every quid they can get out of it. I could of walked to Australia faster than they are working on this. I'm sick of looking at it.🥴.... while all the streets in Colwyn area have shit pot hole filled roads littered everywhere, trashing the shit out of your car!!!, but they waste millions on Rhos one way and things we just don't need. Fix the roads first you arses, not just patch them up with a bit of tar then bugger off!!! Resurfacing is a swear word to Conwy Council.

Fantastic video at 1:01 on the middle of the screen is my holiday home with the patio on the back of the house looking out to sea, I had my Mavic 3 pro there other week and it’s an amazing place to fly, only problem in the week is when the RAF train towards the Mach loop and sometimes fly right over Deganwy remember I was just about to fly mine and saw two hawks flying towards me from Anglesey and thought wow better not

There is so much more to Old Colwyn than the beach and the A55. The football ground, the lovely and historic golf club, it's lovely chapels and the old quarries and landing stages. And that's before we get onto the beautiful Fairey Glen, the Smoking House and the walk up to Llanellian yn Rhos. Please have a fly over these on your next visit. Thank you for visiting.
