Touring My Favorite Museum In Colorado
Переглядів 94День тому
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is one of my go-to places to visit when people come from out of town. We came, we explored all the exhibits, and even went to a show at the planetarium, as well as a temporary "live animal" exhibit.
My last Saturday in Japan :(

Saying goodbye to Amos and Ashley at Cornerstone, hanging with Kazane and eating flat noodles (surprisingly difficult), going to the art museum, grabbing dinner, staying up way too late. Tada! You just watched the whole video!
Japan's biggest tourist trap (for me)

What you came for: an in-depth tour of the ultra modern, highly immersive, premium, art experience. What you got: exposed to a crisis.

It's kinda like Las Vegas: yeah, the first few days are fun, but after the 4th day people are desperate to get as far away from the Strip as possible, because it's just too much lights, noise, people and commotion. It's sensory overload.
@@samweirich5973 sensory overload is a good way to put it
Was literally watching this while eating ramen 😎
@@Justinjcoaching dang now I want ramen 🍜

@@KyleWongCO for 2 weeks as like a trail run. Then if I like it maybe come back in January using the 6 month digital nomad visa. I’ve got my fingers crossed to like Japan because so far I’ve done Cyprus, Madeira and Sicily and whilst they’ve been good they haven’t fully ticked the box yet in terms of where I’d want to move too
@@CodingAbroad nice that’s exciting!

Thanks for sharing. Uniqlo is great value. Didn't realize they do tapering alterations. I've only gotten things hemmed there.
Yes I didn’t know either, and they did it quickly too!
What is the name of the artist and the background track?
I used a few songs on this one from epidemic sound, which part specifically?

Your such a great storyteller 🙌
Aw 🥹

With sheer willpower
Audio sucks I know, it won't happen again
You should go to Loft in Shibuya for super cute stationary, or MUJI is nice shop to buy nice cute things as well, they do have multiple locations, but the one in Ginza is their flagship store. Also you may try 100 yen stores like Daiso, they carry cheap and cute stationary too.
Oh good idea!! I’ll have to try it
Yeah for Beth the cleaner
True stuff, what would I have done without her?
Subscriber #183 here. Keep making videos, more Japan content. I was in Tokyo last month for 10 days, and my life is changed. I felt like Isekai or in another world when I was in Japan. ❤
Aw that’s so sweet thank you
Your video is great. It won't take long before your channel will reach 1.000, 10.000 and even 100.000 subs!
Thank you!!
Agreed! Great job! You have it all and I can't wait to watch more of your videos!
For a change, do try Arco Iris Peruvian near Gotanda... It's great value for money for lunch. We do get tired of Japanese food😂.
Oh that sounds great. Believe it or not I found a great Mexican spot right off of Takeshita street
@@KyleWongCO Chiles? Yup , we love the quesadilla there too... tho it can be pricey.
Soooo cool 😍
Thought of you immediately, you'd love this place
That's so awesome!
It’s very cool!
Ah man, I really want to do that!
You’d love it
Kyle, if you want to be a castle hunter, then you need to be clear that a Japanese castle is a huge complex of stone and earthen walls, moats, gates, towers (turrets), palaces, bridges....and yes! There is often a keep (donjon) as well. And only 12 have survived from the Edo period. But the keep is NOT the castle. It's just the most impressive centerpiece. Some castles never had a keep from the start. So please don't say that "Osaka Castle" has been gutted and remade into a modern museum on the inside. First of all, the entire building is modern. It was built in the early 1930s. The original structure was lost centuries ago. And most importantly, it isn't the castle. It's just the keep. The castle itself is huge and a number of original wooden gates and towers still stand. The view across the moat towards the Otemon (the main gate) is one of the most magnificent views of any castle in the world. If you haven't seen that, you haven't seen "Osaka Castle". Most people think that the keep = castle, but there is so much more. Let's educate them as to the true magnificence and beauty of Japanese castles.
You know a lot more than I do!
There should be good Indian food places since Nishi Kasai is known as little India.
I heard about it!
I’m in Tokyo but I’ve been going there around 2008-09 I gotta go back visit!
