Hi, my name is Krimo. I came to the UK from Algeria in 1976 at the age of 22 to study Naval Architecture. But instead of designing ships, I ended up frying chips. I worked in a few restaurants before opening my first one, Krimo's at Seaton Carew on May 4th 1985.

I retired from the restaurant business in 2018 having sold my last two restaurants to the head chefs.
