Obrigado Paulo. A pista está agora numa fase de transição para outro local, menos amplo. Mas, mesmo assim, consegui planeá-la com 23m em apenas 8m2. Vai estar finalmente pousada numa mesa com 6x1.4m, vai ter 3 níveis e vai ser ainda mais fluída. Depois partilho. Já corri na pista actual com 6 pessoas mas não com 6 pilotos. Foi um caos... Mas apenas por isso. Abraço

Of course I can. But I prefer running 1:32 cars because the track looks even larger with these cars and they are faster and more throttle responsive also

@pedrovskyyy so you would go with one of the carrera track sets. I would imagine 1/32 cars look more realistic on a smaller track set up. Thanks.

@@jkm49us25 I really think that 1:32 scale cars look more realistic on this track, at least when compared with European actual race tracks. I think the 1:24 scale cars are too close to each other on this unique size 1:24 scale track sets and the 1:32 cars can slide more on turns without landing on the next lane. Of course the scale speed is way to far from reality. The 1:32 scale cars can easily achieve 600 Km/h scale speed (370 mph) on a long enough straight. So, based on this criteria, the 1:24 scale cars a little more realistic. Not enough for going with this scale. Besides, I created 3 categories for the cars setup also to get a more realistic scale speed without compromising the skills needed to get a good lap time.

Thanks. It was just my opinion based on the information I had. Now, after two years racing and expanding the track, I'm far from being disappointed and I would buy Carrera again.

I'm trying to do just that by decreasing the tires grip and setting the cars speed to the actual scale. Not achieved yet.

@@lancelot1953Boa noite Lancelot, I don't have carrera speedometers and so I don't know how they work. What I have is the Smartrace race management software that communicates with the track control unit. On this software, I can record the actual track length as well as the cars scale (1:32 in my case). When the cars pass over the control unit sensor, the software displays the lap time and computes the average scale speed. And it's very accurate. Concerning carrera speedometers, they must be accurate also if there is a way of recording the track length and the cars scale you are racing with.

They are all 1:32. Although the 1:24 cars runs perfectly on the carrera track, I prefer running 1:32 because the track looks even larger with these cars and they are more throttle responsive also

The Track planner is a software. You just have to search on the web and buy it. It will be delivered as a link to download.

It's not really an inversion. The magnets force variation is just a function of their distance to the track. Period. What I did was to change the original position of the magnets that were placed under the metallic plate and placed them over the plate, increasing their distance to the track.

Thanks Roland. No I haven't. But I guess you have. What are the benefits? Do the polyurethane tyres have that much less grip than the rubber ones? If that is the case, how do I get them for the cars I have? I really want to create a non magnet category where I can set a lower speed (an actual scale speed) and, even so, be difficult to drive. Also for drifting in another category.

That would be an excellent idea. It would also worked if the the control unit was programmed for not allowing a lane change when both sensors of the double crossing change lane track section were actuated. For the rest of the change lane track sections, where there is just one crossing, instead of just one sensor, there would have to be an additional one for the other car.

Thanks Stewart, 13 years ago I tried to get someone interested on this concept and I also disclosed that exact concept you are talking about. I guess the 360º projection technology isn't available yet. But that is the natural evolution and it will be an amazing device to have at home and public spaces.

Obrigado Paulo, estou a alterar a pista neste momento, vai ficar com 22m e com duas seções muito interessantes em termos de condução. Assim que estiver pronta vou fazer mais uns vídeos.

Pedro. Minha pista é bem menor. Mas eu optei por correr com os carros tamanho 124. Aqui no Brasil é difícil de ampliar o layout usando curvas diferentes da 1/60, porque qualquer acessório… bordas… enfim, tudo é muito caro.. mas devagar vou melhorando

@@paulomartinatti3058 Paulo, penso que o tamanho ideal para esta largura de pista é 1:32. A pista parece ainda maior assim. Quanto aos carros, tanto uns como outros têm muita qualidade e detalhe. Talvez um dia experimente...

Thanks Joe, I new that already. But it only works if you put one or two ghost cars in the track (one on each lane). As I was racing against more than two ghost cars, I would have to put more than one on the same lane. If the ghost cars didn't change lanes, the fastest car would catch the slower one and the two would race together from then on. Not what I wanted.
