Regarding the creative process and moments of doubt... generally when I'm creating something, I don't doubt it. I just do it how I feel is right in the moment - and I do it because I'm doing it for myself. Sometimes I quit half way through because I lose the inspiration or I understand that whatever I'm working on is not going entirely in the right direction. The real moments of doubt usually pop up if/when I'm about to make my work public in one way or the other. Then, the what-if's pop up. The insecurities raise their head. The need for external validation appears out of nowhere. Is what I've done representative of me? Is it good enough to share with the world? Is it of any value to anyone else? What will people think of me? What if they misunderstand what I'm trying to say? Am I sharing too much, am I being too vulnerable? That's the hard part, for me at least.
