I am a Welsh Blood Donor...

We take the time to donate blood for free. The new system only benefits the Company taking the blood and makes it difficult for the donors who have to work. Bring back the old system and stop using COVID for changing everything! I can see why they are accepting blood from high risk groups/lifestyle's.

Please collect blood between 5 and 7.30 cos I have no chance before 5 due to work

I can't drive. It's a 40 minute walk for me there and there's nobody I can really ask to take me back as I'm not supposed to walk back. And it's awkward compared to where it used to be. Last time I got lost.

As a regular donor I am disappointed with the new donor centres. My local centre is in an awkward position. Bring back the mobile centres.

I used to donate before I was diagnosed with chronic anemia and need blood transfusions myself , I wish I was able to still donate reached 11 donations before I needed blood

I hope you become a lifetime donor! I gave over 200 pints now, some of them platelets and some whole. I take iron pills to replace the iron. You can do that if you want, because I’m a woman too and it can help us. Ferrous gluconate is easy for most people. 😊👍

I wish you could take blood from someone who has had a blood transfusion id donate again in a heart beat but sadly ive had over 500 units of blood in the past 4 years

Thank you Wrexham fc as someone who has regular blood transfusions in Cardiff I need others to donate and the Welsh blood service and the donors are awesome
