Thanks for the review on the DVP4. Exactly what I was looking for.
Hey Nick; I realize this is old but we are just doing this song for the first time and I appreciate how you don’t just talk in fret numbers but notes!
Awesome video!
Stevie Ray would approve 👍
Nice!
think I,ll try the last one for my first board ,thanx
I've mostly used the guitar volume knob for sweelsl/linear taper. My question is' how close'assuming it's audio taper' how does the sweep in comparison vs matches up to a linear taper pot' alot of travel? being as small as it is.
There are some very nice pancake style cables. Rean Neutrik are a very solid choice!
❤😢❤
Putting together my first Pedal board- I got this pedal, plus an awesome Black Country Customs " The Secret Path" Reverb pedal... But totally new to all this... Can you do a video how to connect the volume with the reverb, like how and what to use? Show the visual how to connect it all please and thank you, God Bless!
@@cassandrahuskey8866 hi there! You can check out my video on patch cables, but the answer to your question is pretty straightforward. Just plug into the volume pedal first with an instrument cable, then use a patch cable to connect to the reverb pedal. If your reverb pedal has two inputs/outputs, I’d go with the Left/mono input and output.
Awesome video man. Thanks
@@oscarkez thanks man! Appreciate you saying so! Keep rocking!
Great pedal review. I was looking for an in-depth look on exactly this one. Beauty guitar too!
@@ChristopherAllen-yx1ug thanks man!
Great video Nick!
Holeyboard is awesome! Amazing costomer service (answering emails immediately on a Sunday morning) and quality gear. Can’t go wrong! ✌🏼

Thanks for the info.
That was awesome
The board rocks out of the box. It had a bit of flex on the top deck where the two halves join. I’m OCD about gear so I did my mid to it. I mod all my guitars to suit me. The board is awesome as is but I’m kinda picky
If you play strat your volume control is right under your pinky, you dont really need this pedal :)
Good video sir. I just received my Holeyboard 123. Still have an original wooden one. I like this one better. I made some minor mods to mine to make it work better for me but those were personal choices. Overall I don’t think you can beat this board for the money.
Agreed man! What kind of mods did you make? Thanks for the comments!
I wanted to mount the power underneath the top deck. I super glued rubber feet to the top of my CS 12. I zip tied it underneath the top deck so now I have a 1/2” of space to allow ties to be easily used to mount and change pedals on the top deck. There was a bit of flex between modules so I drilled a small hole and bolted the halves together to eliminate it
@@larryadams1873 You had to drill holes to bolt the two modules together? Do the factory holes not allow for more bolts (side from the primary ones intended to join the two?)
More vids!!
Makes me wanna praise god
Awesome stuff my guy, what guitar are you using?
Always a boost in credibility when the person is wearing a chosen shirt. I do wish they had called it the Holy board though
I hear that man! Thanks for the comment...and I can't wait for season 4 to post!!!
This or the ultra phonix
Is this similar to jhs @timmons?
Great tone… that’s the verse not the solo FYI
This is not really what we mean by “solo”.
Great to hear you play! Words of wisdom.❤
Cool review. I am not a fan of velcro, so the zip tie options may be better. Currently using an Aclam Pedalboard no velcro, no zip ties. Clean.
Thank you bro!
What was the podcast you were talking about at 2 min?

Oh is this nice! Sounds great!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Hi ,could you please explain what was your signal chain to achieve that kinda "whaleish" sound on the intro 😢 ?
Hello, I had a delay going into a reverb pedal. The key is to have your reverb mix and decay set really high. You can use a volume pedal for swells if you like, or just use your volume knob. Hope that helps.
@RockTheJourney Thanks for the reply, gonna give it a shot 😃.Was the volume pedal placed before or after the amp 🤔?
Can I get tabs ❤❤
Great advice, cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff man, glad to hear you singing
