Sounds Good Music Camp
The Sounds Good Camps are a fun, open environment for children to explore music, and have been running since 2009. Children can attend camps on our campus in Balbriggan, Dublin (IIMS) and in Malahide, Dublin (St. Sylvester’s). Every child loves music and we believe that every child has the potential to sing and express themselves musically. We run camps over the Easter, Summer and Halloween Break.

Many thanks for this. Love from Palestine 🇵🇸
Wow. That pronunciation is atrocious. Utterly embarrassing. So English.
Thank you for the lesson. I don’t know if I’m being ironic or sarcastic or neither or both. But obvs this isn’t a video for kids is it? Like we’re commenting. Ohhh.
The song is appropriate for anyone.
@@andrewgjennings yes but my question to the content creators is ; “this looks like children’s programming that was originally intended for other media, and this was also uploaded to this medium, and if this video is labeled ‘for children’ (it isn’t) then there are no comments”. Let’s not pretend then that this is “G” rated. (In the states the MPAA rates “G” as motion picture as suitable for all audiences, I’m sure that everybody, everywhere has a similar authorized rating system and I was just using the one that I’m familiar with). So this vid is for grown ups, innit? ❤️❤️❤️
Ok
So if someone annoys you , a eoman chop off her head , and the narive irish warrior woman is a pirate ???? Billy boy barrys ....pay tax for this freemSon spsstic d4 " magic " ?
I like how the subtitles dont match what my ears are hearing 😂
Don't know how long ago this was posted. Don't know if you guys check old videos comments but why did you not do the whole song in Gaelic? You're not supposed to mix languages or at least it's what I was told
Not happy. Nix the english lyrics.
❤❤❤
This is just gorgeousness and gorgeosity. Thank you, Gentlemen.
Fail in pass Irish we won't tell ye why
Fantastic! Now do the full Irish version, no English. Please!
The british propsganda service hss sunk to this ..
Would love to see this written out phonetically.
Why is there English in it aswell and u got the verus mixed up
Mot me, a 36 year old man, singing along when im meant to 😂
Absolutely BRILLIANT! Keeping our ancient culture alive and thriving through the magic of music and song!! Éirinn go Brách!!! (Do mhuintir Shasana ... Erin go bragh!) 🇮🇪🍀💚🇮🇪🍀💚🇮🇪🍀💚🇮🇪🍀💚
Love this song. I'm a Greek born in Australia and now with the birth of my grandson I am also part Irish.
That’s a fun one. I love how you teach. I’ve never heard it with English in it before.

Sean clárach mac domhnaill composed this song good idea to mention that!!!!!
It went really well until you starting singing it in English.. I don't understand the point!!
Great job peeps.
As a Bangladeshi it's hard for me to learn the language so thank youuu for helping me learn this amazing song My favourite song
When I fist time came to that song, I was absolutely in love with it. Before watching your video I mastered the chorus myself. And now, thanks to you, I know 3 more lines from that masterpiece! ❤ I will not stop until I can sing the full piece in Irish. Thanks Gods I started to learn Irish, so much beautiful song there!😊
It does not sound similar to Mary O'Hara's pronunciation at all. It is so English- style with /ourou mou/ and so on.
I'm an adult and i friggin loved this!!
Love it. Love this song. Love you guys. Keep it up
i wish you would slow down bro like just a little
Haha yeah he is a little fast but talented lad.
Great work guys.
this is wonderful
having had the pleasure of getting to visit not just this town but the wonderful people who run this institute earlier this year; I cannot even begin to tell you the goosebumps I had being there having read up on the history and hearing this song before arriving there. Still makes my hair stand on end. Walking the streets and standing on the beach where these events happened...this song was echoing through my head the entire time as a sort of spectral companion of the place. Truly made me have a deep think about humanity as a whole as well as everything the Irish people went though not more than a few generations ago. You guys made a wonderful song and I am so grateful for your hospitality while I was there!
Honnestly those two guys are great ! It's easy to learn in that way ! Thanks so much and Oro from France ;-)
Ive always loved the way irish always sounds like youre singing when you speak, but god help me, i can never figure out your spelling system.
Great vid guys. I was hoping for no English though. Like the Clancy Brothers version at Carnegie Hall.
This is beautiful, is it possible to buy the arrangement please?
Kocham ten przekaz😁
cUDNE TŁUMACZENIE..sPRÓBUJĘ PO POLSKU..
Why did you switch to English?
I think there were multiple versions, even in English.
i hear it, when i try to copy what you say, totally something else comes out. i love it
Greetings from Brazil! Love it, thanks for this ❤
Dig deeper lads. Gráinne Mhaol (Grace O'Malley) was added later. The original version called 'Ó ro! 'sé do bheatha a bhaile" is from around the time of the Jacobite Rebellions in Scotland and it was about Bonnie Prince Charlie (Séarlas Óg "Young Charles" in the original). The song was changed shortly after the Easter Uprising of 1916 adding Grace O'Malley as a recognizable Irish figure to give the the song a rallying tone for those opposed to the English. It's basically an Irish song supporting Bonnie Charlie's claim to the throne.. Here's the original lyrics: Chorus Óró, sé do bheatha ‘bhaile, Óró, sé do bheatha ‘bhaile, Óró, sé do bheatha ‘bhaile Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Shéarlais Óig, a mhic Rí Shéamais ‘Sé mo mhór-chreach do thriall as Éirinn Gan tuinnte bróig’ ort, stoca nó leinidh Ach do chascairt leis na Gallaibh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chorus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ‘Sé mo léan géar nach bhfeicim Mur mbéinn beo ‘na dhiaidh ach seachtain Séarlas Óg is míle gaiscidheach Ag fógairt fáin ar Ghallaibh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chorus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tá Séarlas Óg ag triall thar sáile Béidh siad leisean, Franncaigh is Spáinnigh Óglaigh armtha leis mar gharda ‘S bainfidh siad rinnce as éiricigh!
Didn’t Padraig Pearse change lyrics before the rebellion as it was sung during it and he was murdered right away after?
This version is better, because it's Pearse's version, a song about the Irish kicking the colonizers out
There are dozens of examples of traditional or older folksongs being conscripted for other purposes and having their lyrics changed. That's the beauty of folk music. It's for the people and it can evolve to send a new message as the times change, no copyright or royalties required.
Lads please start a channel fot adults where we can learn but have a drink etc. I'm thinking party games that encorage irish learning.
Interesting! Michael looks like he could be Rory McIlroy’s brother.
