The best sizes would be between 18 and 24. I usually use a finer one (around 22 or 24) for embroidery and a larger one (18 or 20) for blanket stitching along an edge with 3 strands of thread. I haven’t had that happen with my dolls. It would depend a bit on what type of yarn you used. If the ends did fray a little over time, you could trim them to neaten them.

It was difficult to film the actual stitching along the edge of the card, but I explain how to do it at around 1 minute, 50 seconds. I’m a beginner at filming and presenting videos, using basic equipment, and am doing my best while I gain experience!

A little kindness goes a long way. If you weren’t satisfied with this video, there are many more you could have moved on to. I don’t personally know the lady who gives this tutorial, but I found your comment very offensive. Kindness matters.
