I think the scene where Fez beats Nate should’ve come in later in the show. Fez and Lexi story needed some development. For example, the two meet at the Halloween party and get to know one another. He likes her bob Ross costume and thought she was different from the other girls because she can hold a conversation. He’s intrigued by her, in return, Lexi really likes Fez. I want them to get to know one another but Fez is mysterious to her and she wants to find out more about his upbringings. Lexi should find out that Fez is a drug dealer through Nate because Nate doesn’t like Fez and in return, Fez doesn’t like Nate. Nate tells her he deals drugs and Rue is one of his most loyal customer. This makes Lexi upset because he’s playing a big role behind Rue addiction. Fez tries to explain his upbringing to Lexi and tells her he doesn’t sell Rue drugs anymore and he actually cares about her well being. And he no longer wants to be a drug dealer. He wants to make something of his life. Lexi reconciles and starts talking to him again. At the party Fez sees Nate and Nate practically tells him he’s worthless and will be a drug dealer for the rest of his life. This makes fez upset and he beats the shit out of Nate not realizing Lexi saw him. Lexi then starts to distance herself from him because she thinks he’s aggressive. However, Lexi wants to know why fez hurt Nate and he tells her what Nate said to him. Lexi lets him know he’s not worthless and he can always change his life around. The two fall in love with one another and Lexi decides that she’s been living in her sisters shadow for two long and is tired of being the black sheep in the family and decided she wants to get married. Fez was apprehensive about it at first and asked her if she’s sure. She tells him that she is. Lexi feels like she plays things safe and wants to be spontaneous. Plus, she really likes fez. Her mother was apprehensive about it but after meeting fez she agrees. Cassie tells nate about their wedding (the two are still together btw) and Nate plots to ruine fez life. He does this by calling the swat team on fez while he was in his suit about to go to the wedding. The swat team accidentally shot fez but ashtray escapes because fez tells him he should run away before they see him. Fez dies but Lexi doesn’t know this and she’s left at the alter. She’s upset with fez and later on finds out that fez died. Cassie tells nate that fez died and he tells her that it was destined to happen because he’s a drug dealer. Cassie knows that was a messed up thing to say but she’s so head over heels for him that she brushes it over her head. Later one everyone finds out Nate called the swat team and is the reason why fez is dead so they try to blackmail Nate. Maddy tries to console Lexi and the two become close. Rue goes into her detective mode and Lexi throws her play to humiliate Nate. Nate gets upset and storms out of the auditorium and Cassie runs after him. He breaks up with Cassie and Cassie runs on stage to ruined Lexi. Maddy sees this and runs up stage and starts beating Cassie for trying to hurt her sister, for sleeping with her ex and for making things seem like it was all about her. Ashtray goes into an orphan home and gets transferred to the same school with Gia. Ashtray meets Lexi and tells her he wasn’t too sure about her intentions with her brother because they’re so different. He also tells her that his brother really loved her and she made a huge impact in his life.
