Aspirations EP, has to be one of my favourite hardcore records ever. The 'monster sound' 10" is also amazing. I find myself randomly singing 'in your eyes' on a weekly basis, dude wheres the remix/remake? Its really stayed with me throughout the years. So good to see that he's a genuinely nice guy too. Hugely underrated DJ, always said that even in ‘91. Seen him a few times live being from the Midlands and went in what we think was his clothes shop in Leicester and bought a ‘Buzz’ top ( anyone remember them?). Had a very pretty Mrs as well if memory serves seeing him walking across the Garvey in Notts with her just before he played 😃

Great to hear SS so passionately talking about the early years. I absolutely LOVE everything SS and Formation did in the early 90s. The sounds, the aesthetic, etc. just worked so well. I've got a bunch of Formation releases with the classic 2 colour graphics, but wish I had them all.

I attended for a year from 1990 at the age of 5, absolutely loved Saturday mornings with dad taking me to karate followed by a trip into the Chinese supermarket across the road. Happy memories. Osu!
