Well, I don't lnow exacrly the weight, but it's not that heavy. It's just me that was expecting a lighter guitar because of the price / entry line guitar.

@@deadwolfesband no, it’s not. I would like to try a Les Paul for the 1st time and decided to go for a Harley Benton because of the price, and in my humble opinion, it worth it.

@@luizlima8214 fala Luiz. Obrigado pelo comentário. Ela não dragons fácil não. Claro que nos primeiros dias ela desafinou algumas frações de tom, daí eu ajustava as tarraxas de micro afinação e ela voltava. Mas era coisa normal de cordas novas, pois eu troquei ela pra 0.10 assim que chegou. É a guitarra que eu mais toco entre as outras e ela não tem desafinado não. É super simples e acaba sendo a mesma coisa de outras pontes.

Thanks man! Still have a couple of mistakes. First time playing a Les Paul Model and it's way different compared to a Strat / Superstrat, but even this I wanted to give it a go. Will try to work ore in this solo and maybe record a new version later on.

For me, it sounded way better through my old Bugera V22 Tube amp than my Solid state JC120.

Hi Jeremy, Thank you for your question. I think it sounds better on a Tube Amp, as Devyn previously said. But to me, this Amp + Gear is something very particular, so it moight worth to test that out and choose your preference.

Currently I am running a rig that mainly consists of a Les Paul and a Marshall DSL40, which as I am sure everyone knows is a fairly high gain amp in its own right. I mainly just boost with a SD-1 in the front. Is the 5150 OD pedal more a distortion pedal? So, how would I go about using it if I wanted to get that brown sound? In the front on the clean, as a boost or in the efx loop? That's why I asked, for me, it just seems easier to put in my solid state amp. haha

I would say this is more like an Overdrive Pedal which can easily turn into a High Gain pedal due to the drive settings + booster. Most of the time I use it on the clean channel, switching in between the Clean and the 5150 drive. I have a Marshall DSL20 and I tried to use as a boost on the red channel, but to me, the Marshall Drive has more bass and less Mid, so when I kick the pedal in as a boost, it changes a bit the Tone with more mids (which I prefer), but it sounds different from the red channel drive.

Thanks for the responses. For me, I think this pedal will not be a good use of $200. Much like the BE-OD, people are using these "amp in a box" pedals to recreate a sound I am already getting for the most part. Just using a combination of an SD-1, EQ and Compresson/Sustainer pedal in the 4 different channels I am getting in this amp is a lot of different sounds. Oi Guilherme! Eu acho que dá pra usar ele como Pré Amp. Eu nunca usei, mas não vejo nenhum obstáculo pra usar assim. Não há nenhuma descrição ou nenhnum outro review falando nisso, mas acho que você usar da maneira que for melhor pra você. Os pedais que eu tenho no Send/Retuern são apenas o Chorus, Delay e o Loop+Bateria.

Yeah, this is a great pedal, indeed! I love its drive specially when it’s set with high gain.

No, it’s not noisy, but It depended on how you set the Noise Gate. If you set it 100%, then it’s completely silent when not playing. I usually set between 60% and 80% as I mentioned in the video just to be able to add more dinâmica in the lead guitar when I want to play a muted or soft note with the pick.

I think they could make a boost button like the other button, to be switched with your foot when playing. You either turn it off or on with your fingers, and to me it’s not so intuitive. The drive is also not my favorite, I really like it, but I think this fuzzy thing comes from Van Halen Brown Sound, I don’t know. Regarding the Reverb, it was from my amp which I already turned off 😄 Let me know if you have any other suggestion to improve my videos. I will really appreciate it 🙂

Pois é, a maioria dos reviews que eu vejo a galera demonstra o drive s word tocando alguns acordes e fazendo algum solinho de improviso (o que é legal) mas eu tentei mostrar o drive com pegada e saindo direto do amp tocando músicas que a maioria da galera curte no heavy metal / hard rock, pois afinal de contas quem compra esse pedal tá buscando tocar isso mesmo. Se você tiver alguma dica ou sugestão de melhoria, me diz aí pra eu colocar em prática e tentar fazer vídeos mais legais.

Acho que depende muito de como você timbra a sua guitarra. Ele tem o Noise Gate justamente pra cortar qualquer tipo de ruído, e se você não colocar muito Drive, vai ter menos ruído ainda.

Eu faço toda a Edição no CapCut. Antes eu usava o Adobe Premier (ainda uso um pouco), nas o acho o CapCut mais "rápdio" pra edições mais básicas.
