As I said under previous video, 100 sience per second or 100 labs is a megabasing. Quality can negate some of this challenge, but as you get into complex sience past early game, this plan will backfire. If you still want to do that, consider making sience on Vulcanus, as there resorses are dirt cheap. Also flamethrowers use liquids (usualy peple use crude oil) as an ammo, the flamethrower ammo is only for personal/vehicle use.

I think space age is fine for a first playthrough.

100 labs is a megabase level, hold your horses. Although usualy bases mesured in science per minute or per second. More or less starter base level is 1 science pack per second. Second, good luck suffering. There is a reason why we not recommend new players to start in desert: no trees => more biters as nothing stops polution from spreading. Third, if there is a way to hold biters, it is a train wall. At the cos of fuel. Fourth, space and other. You should not rush space or other planets. Build Nauvis self sastnible, complete with mall and robot coverege and the wall, with flamethrowers, and only then you can depart. Fifth: bus. I personally not a fun of busses, but for new players it is a good idea to use it, as it is easier to expand. Sixth: may not need them, but programming skills are welcome when working with logic. And you will need it. Simple for oil and quite complex for space platforms and rockets logic. At reaching that point, if you are completely new, you may watch a guide about logic. Now, spoiler alert. Green circuit has an optimal ratio between wire and circuit assemblers: 3 wire to 2 chips. Can (should) be built with direct insertion. Flamethrowers will be the only thing holding them back. They are the most powerful weapon against biters. Uranium can be mined only on Nauvis. That's it. Space age will heart you by various ways. If you will struggle, you can turn it off in mod menu. Never start in dead desert...

Always set retreat point guarded by turrets prior to fight. It saves you from a lot of otherwise deadly situations.

Crazy story man, from big and strong colony, just to two pawns that are dying, and this infestation at the end! Thats why I love RimWorld so much, u never know when ur colony will just die out

I like your colony. I can usually get colonies of a similar size, but I only do well when I do a maximum cold sea ice run, which is hard to start. I would have done the task assignment priorities differently, but rimworld is great because of how many ways there are to play and win.

I see that your defense system is entirely focused in a single place (north side), how to make sure that the battle will happen there? Is there any pathing trick that will automatically send them there? are you going to kite them? is it relevant for every type of raiders?
