Shout out the people who didnt want their audio used with their video? They didnt want it. We have to respect our customers wishes.. This was a tragic accident that they are happy to share but with restrictions.

They can't have a roll cage without the Racetech race seat and harness. They work together as a safety system. The difference is, that Racetech race seats are specifically designed to align the head, neck, spine and hips during a crash or rollover. This gives the occupant the best chance of survival. "Box"? Do you mean roll cage? They can't have a roll cage without the race seat and harness. They work together as a safety system. @@icespy6486 hahaha nope. If they were in standard seats with no harness they would be dead. They would flop around the cabin like that fire extinguisher bouncing off the steel. You can see the comment made by the driver praising our seats for saving his life on our facebook page. You cannot have one without the other and expect to survive that particular crash. What do you race?

Ruff innit! The snap hooks broke. The 2nd crim eis mounting his race seat to a seat adjuster. Note the before, during and after positions of the race seat.

Fair enough. We really have no idea if it would fit. We will go out on a lim and say it will. Its an alloy seat with the ability to make adjustments easy by drilling holes where you want.

These Kirkey race seats pictured have no safety rating at all. They have not been tested in a crash situation and have a disclaimer on their website showing this. Ours seats are tested to the highest international FIA standards. Please point out how spending more money on our race seats isn't going to make you 100X more safe.... Do you know what else they will do? Improve your racing performance because they are safety-approved and they are back-mounted, plus they are designed for different body shapes which allows you to mount the seat in your optimal driving position. Please, go ahead and help me understand your theory that a cheap light untested and uncomfortable Kirkey is better?

Perhaps, however, these race seats have no safety testing at all. They are not SFI or FIA-approved. Drivers are replacing standard ECE-approved seats from their racecars with aluminium untested race seats and think they are safe because that brand has been around for many years. If you go to their website they have a pop-up disclaimer that should shock people but it's easily overlooked because of the price.

Thanks mate. We have made these back-mounted race seats for almost 20 years now. We are the only company in the world that makes composite FIA-approved back-mounted race seats. We used to make a lightweight version many years ago specifically for Sprint cars. Sadly they were the most popular race seat that didn't sell.

No other brand has back-mounted lightweight composite race seats though. Just race with ours and you cant go wrong. 😇

Thanks, we think... We will have to disagree there. to say "any reputable brand is fine" detrimental to people's safety. There is a lot more that drivers need to consider. We don't mean any bad feelings about this but driver safety is our number one subject, We are the only race seat manufacturer to build lightweight composite back-mounted race seats with different sizes per seat model, to suit different body shapes. We are also the only race seat manufacturer to specifically design race seats for Porsche, Aston Martin, Ford Performance, and McLaren and then transfer those same benefits to end-users. We are the only race seat manufacturer that works so closely with the FIA that they base their safety drawings and most of their video and content off our seats. To top it off, we are the only race seat manufacturer that promotes driver safety 24/7. There is a lot more but I am sure you get where we are coming from. We are super passionate about this subject.

Hahaha. Our fire extinguishers come with twin-strap stainless steel brackets. No way would happen unless the impact tore it from the bracket.

Thanks for the feedback. We don't sell enough to make it worthwhile. This is due to RT1000 having fewer safety features and being less comfortable than our other race seats series. Most people go for the 4100, 4200they 4119 series as it helps then with their performance.

Heya Lambros Stamos. We have designed and created a race seat to that standard, however, we are waiting for it to be tested by the FIA at their facility.
