Paraquat Drift is a Frogeye Faker

Herbicide drift can resemble a disease called frogeye leaf spot in soybeans. Look for clues to where other herbicides might have been sprayed and check to make sure symptoms line up with a crop disease. Frogeye has a lot of look a likes and can be identified by finding dark spores in the center of the lesions on the back of leaves in question.

A quick look at sand blowing and the symptoms of sand blowing injury to cotton seedlings. If the injury is severe enough plants will be killed or cut off at the surface of the soil.
Tillage could increase seedling vigor

An example of two different systems (tillage vs. no till) in Ashport, TN. Tillage could be beneficial in increasing seedling vigor by having warmer soil temperatures and less trash for seedlings to emerge through. Could it also be possible that more nutrients become available when tillage practices are used?

It is a good farm. Thank you for your explanation. Please state the name of the variety and indicate its yield per unit area/hectare. Is this a hybrid variety or a pure line variety? Thank you I'm a sorghum breeder
The varieties are Dynagrow M60GB31 and Beck’s M7191. They both made between 80-100 bushels/ acre depending on the field.

Have the aphids become more tolerant to some sprays over the past few decades that you have noticed? Are they typically only visible on the underside of the leaf or could you possibly detect them from the air with your drone?
Sivanto is what we spray when we have a lot of aphids. I haven’t seen any resistance to it so far; so it’s usually a one and done treatment. Unfortunately the SCA hang out almost entirely on the undersides of the leaves and will populate in clusters, so walking the fields is the best way to find them!
Probably the single most important industry in our country! Food production! Good stuff. Keep it up!
