Genuine question... First of all it sounds really good. My question is why do you use so much delay? I see that with a lot of online guitarists they use a tremendous amount of delay playing solos
Thank you! It took me a good minute to make sure I got the harmony notes just right lol and in the end, I want to say it's mostly personal preference, I know some have used it to cover up sloppy playing and such. It can set the tone of a passage just right, or give that feeling of playing on a huge outdoor stage. In this specific situation, I recorded this in an already open project and the delay syncs to the bpm, so I could have dialed it in a little better 😅 I personally enjoy how a delay can fill out sustained notes and make them feel huge (obviously compensating lol)

I appreciate that I hope to make a rig review in time I have a LTD EC 1000 QT with emg het set 54 gauge strings tuned to drop C flat and a Schecter Keith marrow Mk III tuned to drop B with Symour Duncan nazgul pick ups and a Ltd te 7 tellie style 7 string tuned to B standers 56 gauge on those both and a Mesa dual rec and a REV mini lunch box amp with some Fredman, empress,me and Wampler pedals I got to get a drummer and make a new band... But any who keep up the good work and thanks for nerding out with me
