Thats when you know you've made it! Flying your own 747 painted in your bands colors with world tour on it.
More than that … being your own manager and totally in control of all your business affairs, traveling the world several times over and having your lead singer as your pilot. I’ve followed Maiden since 1981 and boy, what a long and successful run they are having.

TF-AAK has been withdrawn from use last month and is stored at EGBP - Kemble Cotswold Airport. Of course it doesn't have the Iron Maiden livery since August 2016 but sad to see another 747 retiring.

I saw this epic show a day or two before the Vancouver stop..It was Fri April 8th 2016 in Edmonton...What was cool about that besides the (plane of course) was that it was Maidens 120th Canadian gig and the last show at the Rexhall place...I'am still kicking myself because I didn't stop at the airport and take pics of this magnificent bird on the way back to the Koots. Cool vid!

I remember this well the land was on the Ag land lock and many people wanted the location. Bill the Zalm got his hands on it by changing the zoning. He and his wife commercialized the place. It was a very popular place and very Dutch. Created a lot of employment and tourism to a big field. But conflict of interest is a understatement. British Columbia is full of these little ditties of politicians and their business practices. One thing the Zalm brought in was if a piece of legislature was not in agreement with the masses they could vote it out. Example the GST and PST , BC still has it. Thank you Bill the Zalm Rest of Canada has the HST where everything is taxed and NO exemptions. You better keep an eye on the Trudeau Government and the fast things they are trying to pull.

The case was dismissed. You may be right but what I read about the specifics of that case sounded dubious, and it WAS dismissed. I don't know why. Perhaps on a technicality, or perhaps for good reason.

Yes, many times, but not ALWAYS. That's too much of a blanket statement. That case was dismissed. I don't know why, perhaps for good reason, perhaps for a technicality. I would never go so far as to say EVERY politician is crooked, EVERY TIME, which is what you implied.
