I haven’t done it yet I’m not really financially in a good spot to go drop the money for the service. Here I’m gonna link my thread I made on Audi world and you can do your research and pass it onto the person who’s gonna work on the car. But it’s gonna cost for them to take a look at the car and labor. I see this being a $1k job at the very least.

Nope, even at about 80 mph still no drone at 2k rpm’s but I plan on doing a downpipe that should give it a little more noise

With the down pipe I had droning with that resonated removed

@@davidwinn803 thanks for the reply. Yeah I’m worried about that. If I notice a bad drone with my future down pipe then I’ll get a full exhaust probably.

Nah man I haven’t unfortunately. I think it’s a transmission oil pump. That’s what I was getting with my obd

Also I’m gonna be taking the car in to get that checked out in a month or so and I’ll try to remember to check back in and see if you still have the issue

I recommend going in for a dsg service at a local euro shop

This isn’t that loud tbh the tires on the road are louder then the exhaust. I’d recommend you do what I did. Definitely keep the mufflers on bc those are what really make it loud from what I heard.

Sorry for the late reply, yeah that’s the only thing to the exhaust I’ve done so far. Your exhaust pipes might be angled differently to cause a different tone? I’m not sure but that’s my guess

yea he will i have this car and the one single resonator coming off the turbo does more work than the entire other 80% of the exhaust system

The one closer to the engine, it’s the biggest resonator. Of the 2

tdi may sound a bit deeper if it’s diesel, otherwise yeah

@@mohammedkhan-io7po yes B9. It’s the 262hp model with quattro. I believe the 190hp model is the fwd.

Man yeah taking off just the front res literally changed the whole car sound!

Yeah i lifted was like damn why audi put this heavy ass piece and weighted on the digital scale 😂 car sure does feel lighter

res delete is perfect! i want my car louder so im gonna put in a aftermarket downpipe then if its still not to my liking ill prob get rid of the mufflers to. but overall the res delete is a good move. i even get some natural burbles when im in manual mode.

​@@mohammedkhan-io7po i took the mid res off. the front one was small and i dont think it would have changed much. ill upload some more random exhaust clips right now. check my channel and videos in about 20 mins. Other then that i have a intake right now. im trying to get a downpipe and intercooler for stage 2 but its so damn expensive.

@@mr4rings_Man I need help I want to make the car louder (no drone tho) but was wondering is this stuff doable without having to tune the car as I intend to do a stage 1 sometime next year. So could I do a resonator delete without worrying about a tune? Also I’ve read of you just delete the res the sounds weird on certain rpm like it fluctuates?

@@CG-ed9jv no drone that i can hear. the car is so well insulated so that helps a lot. i even started to find the sweet spot to get natural tiny quiet pops and burbles.

@@robyrby3516I don’t have a stage 2 yet. But with this I get the dsg fart in between shifts and I get very light burbles when engine is cold
