I recorded the video in 2009 too. I uploaded it and got a copyright strike for the audio. The original track has disappeared though, so I thought I'd share it again.

I tend to avoid game Mods (though I have Discovery for this). However, anyone who wants it can now follow your link, so thank you for that.

I am playing on a Windows 7 Laptop with the disk version, though it is freely available online these days. My sound as in my voice? Yeah, the game is a tad loud at times, its hard to hear me. Haven't tried Star Citizen, but I have played through Tachyon: The Fringe, it's another spaceship shooter.

I must have played through this dozens of times, usually in basically the same way...Same ships and weaponry.

I love this game too! There is more to come. I am going to finish the game, then show some extra things people may have missed.

"I take you all to fucking hell" Tony Montana is the king. Yeah, progressing through this pretty fast...ish. There are times when I have to earn enough to progress.

The worst part is there's no difficulty settings. It just starts out relatively easy and gets progressively harder. You can MAKE the game easier (or harder) though. Freelancer is a good old game, and it now has a bit of an online role-playing community and all kinds of mods.

Its definitely worth a go. You can make it easier too, if it getting a little too difficult. Also, there's a massive MOD for it called Discovery, which has its own RP server. I might play a bit of that and show some of the changes between the two. Only issue with the MOD is you can't play the campaign anymore, so you have to have two versions of the game, and keep a copy of your save files somewhere.

Actually, I'm not. I agree with some small points on both sides of the arguement, but I remain neutral and objective.

Yeah, Spore is a hell of a game. My Carnivore run is still ongoing, though I might cut bits of the Space stage as that would possibly be boring to watch.

Same, Spore is a classic. So much fun, so much to create. Older games are usually better than newer ones in my opinion. I even have some from the 90s!

I don't really judge old games by today's standards, but I know what you mean. I often find that some of the old games are better in many ways than new ones. Older C&C games beat the new ones, old arena shooters beat Fortnite. People underestimate old games, all they care about is "graphics" these days...

@@Diablo_Himself Yeah, the thing is though, I find it confusing and bewildering on how people put this back on America's foreign policy. The middle east was always chaotic, if it wasn't Israel, USA, against Iran, Then it would be the Ottomans against the Persians and Arab rebels.

I think, between the two of us, we are showing people that these classic games are still worth playing. What other games do you have? I might see if I can record Populous The Beginning, Pharaoh and Blade Runner (if I can get it working).

@@LeoPanther Yeah, I worked that out. You are doing well on Tib Sun, and using some tactics that I usually wouldn't. Do you ever play any C&C online, or do you not think you're good enough?

@@Diablo_Himself I pretty much know I'm not good enough. I can comp stomp just fine, but against players I lack the awareness and reflexes needed to respond to stuff. I think the only online C&C I've done "recently" is when my brother accidentally invited me to a RA remastered game. I also don't really have time these days to go through the process of getting a game going and then concluding it before life interferes again.

@@LeoPanther I'm not the best online player. I have some videos of playing online, but I'm not even on the level of intermediates. Luckily, you can find other casual players in certain games. I've played some totally shit Generals players online.

Every player has their own strat. As a beginner, though: For USA, I'd go MD HummVees. For China, I'd recommend Overlords with Gat Tanks. For GLA, spam Quads and RPGs.
