Hi, my urologist wasn't too familiar with it but is letting me try 25mg. daily (doubling or tripling this didn't improve results) to help my chronic urinary retention, until my TURP procedure for enlarged median-lobe BPH. He was concerned that my weakened/distended bladder would render Urecholine ineffective in my case, but the typical Proscar/Flomax combination was not helping my retention either. I am also doing self-catheter once or twice daily. I recently heard that tadalafil was recently approved for BPH and I'm trying that daily also. My retention seems to be responding better now and I feel some more normal bladder control with more normal urination also. thanks for the very informative video!

My take on this medication: (Warning, this will be tmi) I was in the hospital yesterday and I have a really bad flu. When I got this stuff by IV it definitely helped and I was ok but I had also barely been able to eat anything. Now that I'm out of the hospital I'm on the tablet version (10mg) along with ondansteron for nausea and pain, it has done wonders for my pain and I'm so glad I can eat without feeling incredible pain and nausea, even if its only liquids. However if I don't want to live my life on my toilet feeling as if I am pissing out of my butthole I have to wear 2 pads in order to protect my underwear due to the behemoth that is cooking in my bowels. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. 😂😂😂😅
